Should we reform the Irish education system to be more elitist?

In my school everyone always wanted to get in to Trinity College & we always criticized UCD.

But even Trinity College nowadays is not all that great.

The problem probably also lies in secondary school.

In England only certain people, if they achieve high enough grades, enter the elite secondary schools.

Should we not reform the whole education system to be more like the English one?
 
Just because it was much easier to get in to UCD than TCD, particularly the Arts & Humanities department.
 
Irish colleges nowadays are nothing but indoctrination centres for woke gobshites where they can get a worthless 'degree' in 'social sciences' or some other bullshit, dye their hair pink/blue and spend every Saturday roaring and shouting at decent Irish people on the streets about Gaza, George Floyd or some mentally ill tranny who feels hard done by.......
The education system in Ireland is the reason we can never have decent facilities or services to take care of ordinary decent Irish people.

I would say those ordinary Irish people are better off learning a trade in the countryside unless of course they are gifted enough to go to a high-quality secondary school or university.

F&€@ Arts & humanities. I hate our education system because it failed Me with sh&tty career guidance, didn’t spot My ADD & murders our native language daily.
 
I failed Science, then Arts in M&&@€€th. If My ADD was spotted in time l would never gone near a degree. Needless to say, My Daughter has been spared a shabby f&cking Irish education & already fluent at 2 languages by aged 12.

No. It was a long distance relationship; over and back every year for 8 years. Then l had a breakdown 2 yrs after Daughter came on the scene. And l became the Antichrist.

I'm in favour of Lutheranism because Hitler received most of his votes from the Lutheran north of Germany. Wagner also preferred Lutheranism. I'm not a practising Christian, though.
