Ask these climate alarmist twats whether natural cycles are included in their beautiful models and they haven't a clue most of the time, and those that think they are say they are too small to make a difference or that they they are too poorly understood to be taken into consideration. Instead, they come up with some statistical gobbledygook about the data claiming to show that the present supposed forcing of the climate by anthropogical CO2 emisions outweighs anything that mother nature is up to!

However, this great god Data is a load of cherry picked and/or made up balls while if the cycles are not really understood then it's up to science to feckin well make sure they understand them before pretending that they are unimportant!

The climate alarmist camp is getting ever more desperate by the day. At one point they could be taken as reasonably sensible lf a little misguided, but judging by some of the stuff I now see on LinkedIn they have left the tracks completely. Even the ones that are obviously intelligent and more level headed fall back on their god Data and will say anything to excuse all the selectively and 'adjustment' that has warped the raw figures over the years.

Myles, if you looked at this yourself, you would know that natural causes and cycles have been considered and studied as part of the work into current climate change. No "opinion" is needed.

Err... No. As I pointed out above they are generally ignored by all these very clever climatoligists as they introduce far too many uncertainties into their immaculate models.

I'm always open to new evidence, but the fact that CO2 absorbs heat has been known since 1856. We are burning hydrocarbons and we can't account for the rise in CO2 through natural means alone.

Certainly. But thats how science progresses. People make predictions, and then learn from how close or far they got to that prediction. You seem to imply nothing is ever corrected, abandoned, learned or discovered.

For example we used to believe the Sun revolved around the Earth. That doesnt mean modern cosmology is wrong. I could use so many examples here.

Now you mention that, it is the climate alarmists who are the first to resort to AI when being questioned about their beliefs. The images presented are obvious, but what is not quite so apparent, at first, is that once they find themselves in a debate they are losing they hand it over to a bot which just keeps firing the same old failed arguments with no thought going into the conversation whatsoever.

Just on the above I came across this brief resume, issued by the UK Government, of its latest thoughts on the urgency of protecting London from the rising sea levels which are, we are told, about to engulf us all,

Not once is climate changed mentioned, nor any forecasts given of sea levels going forward. It is more concerned about the design life of the feature and when it might need renewing rather than reinforcing or raising.
