David 'Dave' Noonan, an Irish anti-mass migration activist being harassed by legal processes.

David 'Dave' Noonan is from Churchtown in Dublin and from a prominent Republican family, he was in the Fianna himself for a while. Unfortunately though his parents split up and he was in 'care' for a while, including in Ms Carr's on Northbrook Rd, which unfortunately was not a happy experience. In any case after drifting for a while with drugs etc he rediscovered his Christian faith, and his lifelong belief in God, at the Assembly of God Church in Dublin, and left the whole drugs scene behind him.

While he had been involved with the water protests he was especially politicised by the vaccine's and lockdown atmosphere which was particularly prolonged and aggressive in Ireland. He was accused of poisoning everybody with Covid, even his dogs and as such he was reported to the ISPCA despite being very well known to love and care for same, and this ostracisation convinced him that there is something very wrong about modern Ireland.

In any case he helped out Wake Up Eire in their opposition to vaccines and lockdown etc. Then later he became a leading figure in assisting the anti-mass migration protests at two proposed IPAS centres in Carlow town. After that he became one of the most recognisable figures at the protests all around Ireland, but particularly Dublin, including Coolock, Ballyogan and Blessington.

For his pains he has been put through the legal grill, alongwith his colleague Graham Carey whom he came to support in the courts today, as he outlines in this video:

Has he a court date upcoming?

Yes he does, actually two dates in reference to two different protests, I think both in August. Its very hard for him, he is just an ordinary guy without much money etc, and absolutely you can be sure he genuinely acted peacefully at all times. As you can see in this interview, when its finished processing, that was not always true of the Gardai in their handling of him, but they don't suffer any legal problems!

In fact he was explaining one of the cases, I think it was at Ballogan. The Gardai are prosecuting him claiming he didn't always act peacefully so he says ok, show the court your video feed of me at the protests. Then they turn round and say it is unclear and refuse to release it to him or the court. I know you might think it should be, in discovery etc, but the truth is nobody questions the Gardai in any real way in Irish courts.

It is shocking, but not surprising, that the Gardai would accuse someone of being violent, but then refuse to release their video footage of the person. It's not just the cops - it's shameful that the judges play along with it.



I think a crowd of supporters in and outside court makes it harder for judges to be harsh. The more the merrier, really, and everyone nice and friendly.
