In my previous incarnation I was involved with many machinery companies and they all said the same thing, it's a people business, farmers want to do business with people they know, it's all about building relationships and trust. I know there are people out there who think that computers will conquer all but when it comes to farming it is still a long way off.

Can any Dublin knowledge posters advise where to park in Dublin? I am going to a concert in the IMMA this weekend and am finding that a lot of the car parks shut up before the concert might over. I thought of leaving the car outside the city and get the DART and Luas in but again returning late at night they might have stopped running . I dont really know about on street parking which I would pay for or quiet street where the car could be parked without being clamped. Any suggestions?

There is a Hilton Hotel, kilmainham, which is right beside the IMMA, it has parking, probably booked up by now, but worth querying. Ashling hotel on park gate street has parking, a bit of a walk, but again give them a shout.

Near 50 drowned after boat capsizes in Nigerian river


At least 47 people have died after a boat capsized in a river in Nigeria's northwestern state of Sokoto on Thursday, according to officials and local residents.

I have saved a copy of the financial times which I have bought approx. 4 times in my life as it had the headline CITY SUPPORTS MAYS HAND IN TALKS on its front page .
on page 2 it continued the editorial of the front page and it was a piece written to warn the world to take Theresa May and Britain seriously in her talks in trying to rescue Britain from the disaster of Brexit.
and now they were trying to remain in Europe privately but to satisfy the public had to appear to leave and it contained the following statement as a warning to all .
THE FINANCIAL AFFAIRS OF AMERICA ARE CONTROLLED FROM THE CITY OF LONDON AND THOSE DISCUSSING CURRENT EVENTS SHOULD REMBEMBER THIS.
I bought many newspapers in the following days and NOBODY DISCUSSED THIS -- NO MENTION IT WAS EVER SAID NOTHING .
but had anyone else said it there would be screams of antisemitism/tin hats/ conspiracy --all the usual --but this was the people who control Britain speaking and when they spoke nobody said a thing .
