It's fits a pattern of taking less and less land (and much less than the AFU has been able to accomplish), while expending ever more casualties, each time they try an offensive.
RU definitely in trouble now. It's been downhill for them in terms of combat power for the last 2 years but this seems like a nadir. Navy shot to pieces too and the Air Force have basically stopped flying without A-50s.
Yet taking less territory than the AFU at much greater cost than ever is seen as a win? Russian army is a dead man walking, and can't see it.
