I am still going with the Violent Burglar for the Ann Widdecombe Murder.

Sort of Occam's Razor pointer ~ Who does Burglaries of Rural Houses often of Vulnerable Old People ? !

Who might have a Bolt-Hole around the Country ? In this case Rotherham 200 miles away !

I wouldn't be surprised if the first fella that was taken in, was put under pressure, such as, If you have been know to be in the company of the Man that did this = = Then you better start squawking !

So ~ I reckon it was a Burglary that turned Violent for what-ever reason. Yer Man bolted up-Country ~ And maybe the first fella pulled in decided, I better Spill all that I know to the Coppers.

Will it be, an English Traveller / an Irish Traveller / a mixture of those two / Other similar type scumbag / a low-life scumbag, that targets Vulnerable People in Vulnerable situations ! ! !

I reckon that these types ( highlighted above ) have been hoping that it isn't one of theirs, because the Authorities are going to want a crack-down on them if it was ! ! !

In a way I preferred your theory of burglary gone wrong.
But it appears to be political after all, or even terrorism related. Every day we plumb lower lows.

Yeah ~ Bad and all, as it being some Dangerous Burglar ( stupid enough to use such brutal violence ) ~ ~ It is actually worse if this was done by a premeditated terrorist !

Especially so for Ann Widdecombe ~ ~ In that she was so naive and innocent, Not to understand that she was leaving herself extremely Vulnerable as a 78 year old Woman living on her own.

Had, Ann Widdecombe been more careful and private about where she lived ~ ~ She would almost certainly still be alive today !

I do sometimes worry about, some of these dogs around Children, but with the correct Dogs and Good Training that risk can be greatly reduced.

Also if by unfortunate circumstances, somebody ends up with a Dog that is a danger to Children ~ ~ Then they should try to place that Dog where they will be of no risk to Children.
 
Was offline for a few days, but fcuk me, how many famous deaths in the last few days.... All vaxed no doubt, tho Lindsay Graham was probably the gay disease?
