Le Tissier had the moral high ground when he was sacked from Sky for criticising mandatory vaccinations.

He's tossed it all away now by going all Gemma/Buddy Love

Uh I am pretty sure the US developed the technology to adjust weather a while back. What your man said there is not THAT crazy.

That the UK - and presumably everywhere else - rigged the weather to make it Sunny so they could release the virus?

Ionospheric heating is way above the heads of the general public. They'd never understand that Geoengineer's are hard at work experimenting on weather control etc etc
Telly Programmed Heads get nervous when the truth becomes stranger than the fiction they worship, you know?

The use of cloud seeding to alter a storm was not a new idea -- in fact, a weather modification program known as Project Cirrus accomplished the first cloud seeding of a hurricane back in 1947. However, instead of using silver iodide, this project experimented with dry ice as a method of seeding. Despite its ambitious nature, the successful seeding didn’t come without consequences: the hurricane, which had initially been tracking west to east and heading out to sea, reversed its path after it was seeded and made landfall in Savannah, Georgia, causing local destruction. Many blamed the seeding for this disaster, which had a negative effect on political and legal arrangements for future modification efforts. The project was officially canceled, and the embarrassing incident set back seeding research for more than a decade.

You and your Da were pioneers in bringing that technology to Ireland Sir.

I salute you. (y)

Really it's Gemma who deserves the credit for bringing the issue to the attention of the General Public, you know how dim and ignorant they prefer to act?

Tillage farmers were devastated to find that Stormy had blown so hard that their wild oats became crushed & flattened and left nothing but wet patches from behind in the cropped bedding.
Despite the drawbacks farmers are determined to sow more oats, a new hardier variety which still bends but remains erect in Stormy, conditions

The trouble I have with all these ideas about heating the atmosphere is that it takes an incredible amount of energy to do so.

Farmers would be delighted to find their wild oats, Avena fatua, crushed as they are an awful weed. However, it is the common oat, Avena sativa, which is cultivated for your morning porridge and is indeed prone to lodging.

I wonder if regular posters on this particular thread are worried about the real possibility of food shortages as a result of this either natural or man made bad weather.

Is the purpose to destroy harvests to engineer food shortages?

My wife is very particular about fruit and vegetables and she constantly laments the condition of these in the shops. That big supermarkets have removed sell by dates for they item and very often the vegetables are already sweating and going off in their bags even in shops.

That there is genuinely is a lack of good fresh food in the shops, although there may be substandard version still on shelves.

UK and Irish people seem adverse to fresh food. I have done charity bag packs in my time and having been shocked by the amount processed boxed chemical stuffed shite that people buy as their weekly shop. our local markets are cheap clothes etc but nary a fruit and veg man, nor a fish man.

Yet go to the continent and markets are filled with fresh produce and filled with people buying it too.

So if Irish and UK people are already on the hook of the Industrial food complex what is the point of chemically changing the weather to kill off production in the UK and Ireland?

The problem you have is having the scope of a dull Telly Head when it comes to Geoengineering.
It's not a question of "Ideas" :ROFLMAO:.
The threads have links to the technology inventors, pioneers, industrial corporations and service providers.
Now unless you're willing to engage in the real progress you best go back to your football, late late show and sky movies gold or what ever you prefer. - Say a prayer and "Thank God for the Weather" when the opportunity arises.
No worries.:)

Exactly, and they were delighted when Stormy Daniels did the deed for them.
Then they went a got the proper varieties which stood up well to a Stormy's next arrival.
However, it is the common oat, Avena sativa, which is cultivated for your morning porridge and is indeed prone to lodging.
Yeah but a raging Stormy makes porridge out of wild oats, that why young country bucks carry the seed around, literally ffs😌

Kindly provide an example of any incident where the weather was significantly altered, to what extent, for how long and how much energy was required to produce the effect

There has been a lot of pressure to reduce the use of preservatives and pesticides in the food chain and this might well be showing in the poor presentation of food, especially those varieties of fruit and vegetables which have been bred to look appetizing rather than resist deterioration.
