Poor old Buddy said his Doctor referred him to a Shrink but he didn't attend the appointment.

I think he should reconsider in the New Year.

You were off the Site for such a long time but sure the medication you were under would make reading next to impossible.
Lucky you got transferred from St Patrick's to St John of Gods or you'd still be delusional on those old style meds.💊💊

Thanks for my new sig by the way

I will translate it thusly:

Dunning-Kruger narcissist pleads with the world to find his (tl;dr) assorted nonsense and copy/paste jobs "enlightenment"

Well I'm pleased that you've updated your signature. As I said some time ago, you provide me with an opportunity to use your posts as a sounding board. It would be a little ridiculous to post:

"Engage in curiosity rather than rancour - this is the path to enlightenment."

to somebody else but the low-tier nature of your engagement here provides that chance. It's a sound enough piece of wisdom and something that shouldn't have to be repeated. It exhibits a lack of cultural capital in you that you should have to be advised of it. That British education you received wronged you.

This is interesting:

'Of all writers about the concept of PROGRESS, I found Hegel to be in many respects the most interesting, even though his prose is often fantastically dense and difficult to read. Hegel posited that, for all of its bloodiness and strife, human history is moving inexorably towards a universal rule of reason and law.
Marx famously borrowed Hegel’s concept of history—a progressive development of the spirit (thought and understanding)—and he used it to formulate a theory of history progressing by means of successive class struggles for the means of material production.

Marx’s ambitious theories of history and political economy are such gross oversimplifications of complex reality that they have never had any explanatory or predictive utility. However, because his theory of “class struggle” is rooted in the archetypal narrative of conflict between overlords and underdogs, it taps into the widespread and fervent passions of resentment and envy.

...

Recently I was reminded of this while reading the purported “scholarship” of Harvard President, Claudine Gay. Perusing her publishing resume reveals an all-consuming obsession with race—an obsession that yields no insight, practical ideas for improvement, or hope. Every paragraph I scanned was tendentious and excruciatingly boring.'

I checked and got 3 unnamed sets but don't who what it means. I need to check it in town in a crowd

To take a screenshot on your phone - hold the power button and press volume down. The image will go into your Gallery. You can compare the MAC Addresses then. See if they change over time.

Remember that Bluetooth earphones are common accessories (although they generally have names so you know what you're trying to connect to). You might be better off trying it in the open rather than in closed spaces.

It could reveal just how unknowingly connected our living spaces are which would actually be a big discovery - the intrusion of electronic devices into previously private life.

Didn't they put in an amendment about that from the get go? Must have thought it was a danger to have gone to the trouble.

I wonder if they've developed an app yet to access these addresses. Maybe we can start moving the subjects arms up and down etc (for scientific purposes only) to confirm the range of motion possible.

'Apple AirTags send a Bluetooth signal anonymously detectable to nearby devices.'

Apple AirTags: How to find your lost or stolen luggage using your phone or computer - CBS News

There are tags you can buy to track stolen luggage that uses Bluetooth. These probably don't have a name attached to the address. They work when they come close to Apple phones.

There are other tags that work in Android but they only send data when the phone nearby has the particular app from the maker installed. This could explain some of the unnamed MAC Addresses as they wouldn't want to transmit an id.

She is an embarrassment. But the Board has stuck by her regardless. That is the way things are nowadays.

Even if they lose billions in donations, they will stick with it.

Go Woke Go Broke comes to Academia.
And for a plagiarising race grifter.
Academic Integrity isn't a concept that pervades these institutions I'd think it's fair to conclude.
But then it's bowderdised Liberal Art's.
Wouldn't expect better.

India is going to be interesting to watch over the next few weeks.
Let's keep in mind that with such a huge population as India there's bound to be all manner of colds, flu's, tuberculosis, pneumonia etc which can easily and definitely be chalked down to Covid - Oh and India also has a daily death rate of over 26,000 per day.
Good luck sorting the facts from your fictions 😜

That's all true.

What we need to look for is increases in hospitalisation and deaths above the normal trend. Because of its massive population and open press (as opposed to China), if this variant is a more dangerous Omicron we will see the consequences fairly easily (like the last time in India).
