A Possible Energy Shutdown?

MSM gave the protests lots of publicity.
Gardai have allowed them.

If they had wanted to stop them, they would simply grab the drivers, haul them out, rip the key out of their hand and drive the machinery away. Then the cops would vandalise the machinery and torture the drivers. Happens every day of the week.

So why all the huffing and puffing about bringing in the Army? There is absolutely no need for it. They are a bunch of drama queens.

Two explanations:

Cops and MSM want lower fuel prices also.
The system wants chaos and confusion, Irish fighting each other. A fuel price demo is as good an excuse as any.

Either way, it is good news that we can protest without getting tear gassed. Maybe it's a good idea to avoid the traffic jams, fuel depots and concentrate on politicians homes, TDs and councillors?

As well as 100 men outside each house, a couple of big machines. They add some perfectly legal intimidation.Wouldn't it be great fun to drive one of them big tractors over an (empty) squad car?

With 174 TDs, if the cops wanted to match our hundred outside each house, the entire Force would be concentrated there, leaving us free everywhere else.

O'Connell st is a great symbolic location, especially in the week after Easter. And it seems to be working - there is increased pedestrian footfall and they were playing football on the bridge. And they can move up to the Dail to greet the politicians.

There is talk that Dublin Bus are on a partial sympathy strike. Any truth in that?

Also good news that despite the order to call out the Army been given at 8:30am, twelve hours later and there is zero sign of them. Chief of the very small Staff, Rossa Mulcahy, says the only help they will give is heavy lifting equipment. He seems to be ruling out using live bullets, which is encouraging.

MSM journos helpfully tell us that they only have 4 heavy lifting thingies, so it will take a long time to move hundreds of trucks. :)
Pulling trucks and tractors is not a simple job, first you need to disconnect the drive shaft (trucks ad some tractors) to avoid damage/seizing of the transmission and driving them can be fraught with difficulties as well. In fact I know of one tractor importer in the UK which was asked to show the local traffic cops how to operate a modern machine because they suddenly realised that they hadn't a clue!

I think the army logistics lads will figure it out quickly enough. Its their job after all.

MI5 Martin is calling it "national sabotage". Slimy Simon says it is "sinister and despicable". Big Jim is pushing the cops to crack down.

So far, the cops have just smirked and continued facilitating the protest. Good cops.

The Journal is allowing savage comments: block every road in the country, close down the airport, etc. Repeated references to mass immigration as sinister and despicable national sabotage. We are the normies now....

Sounds like the farmers will get savagely attacked early in the morning and their machinery impounded. Let us pray for their safety.

Local is best, of course. Looks like there are lots of local protests planned tomorrow, dunno if they are going to the houses of local politicos. It would be a good idea :)
Easy things to say when you are chauffeured everywhere!

The usual bollox talking and smearing by these total retards.
Are the 'far right' under your bed, O'Callaghan? or is that your sister?
This idiotic moron thinks Irish farmers and ?small buisness owners are being ran by Tommy Robinson and the like.
The rest of the yapping poodles will be along with the same line within hours too.
The resident dickhead here will be bootlicking the government in the same way as usual, of course.

Ya just have to laugh.:ROFLMAO:

Are the far right in the room with you now Jim?
It's pathetic that this is their response to a cascading disaster.
Just fuck right off!

Hard to believe the EU/WEF puppets in government point blank refuse to meet with the four people nominated to represent the protesters and would rather send in the pretend army against Irish citizens.
This is going to get messy.

Canadian ladyGarda, Ms Coxon was laying down the law earlier. Strange that they would wheel her out, instead of Justin. There was some awful stuff going on in Canada when she was over there. Some grim parties at the pig farmer's place with Justin Trudeau.
Dead right.
One way ticket back to Canadistan.
She's bad !

The only thing the pretend Irish army is good for is collecting bins during a bin strike.
You were right, that little arse climbing monkey is all over this one on the establishment side!

TBH, when you meet them it is not that hard to believe at all.

Got a feeling this is going to prove a total feck up for the government. Out on the street All I hear is throw the lads a quid in tax cuts until the war is settled and let's have a normal life. But no, ministers are out to prove what total twats they are and express their hatred for the working class like the prehistoric Thatcherites they want to be, itself, a very right wing attitude.

Panicked Irish politicians call out the Army. 24 hours later and there is not a single soldier in sight. Beannacht De ar Oglaigh na hEireann.

Rumour is the Army won't move until there is a proper Emergency declared, total personal indemnity for all death and destruction caused by soldiers and six million bullets issued. The politicians are reluctant because they fear if they do that, the Army will simply tie every member of the Cabinet to a landmine and blow them all to kingdom come.

The Journal is allowing outrageous comments.

FF TDs John Connolly, Robert Troy have contacted protestors and invited them to a meeting with Minister for Ag.

Protestors say: "Michael Martin cannot be trusted."

We are the new normies.

Myles, moving stuff is basically these lads entire job. This appears to be news to you.
You think the Irish army are capable of moving hundreds if not thousands of lorries and tractors out of the way?

This is the same Army who said it was too dangerous for them to go down a flooded road - basically a boreen with a puddle - in Roscommon after one of the storms.

If they manage to move one lorry they'll put in for hearing loss and PTSD claims.

You were right, that little arse climbing monkey is all over this one on the establishment side!

I'm just pointing out the utter stupidity of you and others on the thread.

It started as pearl clutching about a possibe energy lockdown and the shadowy powers behind it.

Now you have one and no one is asking any questions at all and taking it on face value, no questikns asked.

And then having meltdodown about the army transport lads.

Its frankly hilarious. You are not serious people.

Wow.
I still think you grew up in a bin, Myles, when I read what what you think is a valid set of words and sentances and thoughts.

Somehow the army can move batallions of trroops to Lebanon and Africa etc on peace missions, even put troops on East Timor...but suddenly has lost the ability to move tractors from side of a road in Ireland.

The fact that you have almost nothing at all, and lost all you had, doesnt it make think you are not generally very good at this thing called life?

How long would it take for a few dozen army vehicles to remove thousands of tractors and lorries off the roads? What if the removed vehicles were then simply driven back onto the roads? It was an ill-conceived scare tactic that the Government has already given up on; they have now agreed to talk with the protestors.

How exactly are they going to do it? What if the drivers lock themselves into their cabs. Are they going to smash the window and pull them out?

If the protesters surround the first vehicle to be targeted, will we have soldiers threatening live rounds on them?

You have to remember your media/propaganda outlets are largely impotent in this era. Everyone has a portable television studio in their pocket that can send videos around the World in an instant.

Is the scenario above the image the government would like to portray?

Your concern is touching but thankfully not warranted. I'm well on the way back already and things are looking good :)

Glad to know you have a full suitcase again.

Myles, think about this for one moment now.

Just think. Please.

If this was a bunch of left leaning people, blocking the roads to protest some war, would you still write your previous post? Are windows smashable now for you?

Glad to know you have a full suitcase again.
I will have a new house before the end of the year and something of a windfall when the last one gets sold.

Amazing how quickly things can turn around when you face adversity head on my concerned chap.

I wasn't commenting on whether a Country's army smashing windows and threatening to shoot demonstrators is a left/right thing.

I think the scenario regardless of the cause would look very bad on the international scene. However I do think this particular cause would resonate with ordinary people a lot more than pampered pink haired students ranting about how the LGBTQUI++ community stands with Palestine.

So still living out of a suitcase. Grand.

The cause wont resonate more when people cant get fuel, cant go to work, cant go to hospital, when shelves start to empty out.

It might surprise you to learn that the authorities have no problem smacking the heads of people in Ireland when desired. We already have plenty of tv footage of that over the years.

Have you forgotten all this?

Could I just add, I'm not strongly in favour of these protests. Nor am I strongly against.

A deal will have to be made soon and things get back to normal.
Same here Myles. Fuel prices should drop, but the protest has directly challenged the government which isnt good politics.
