people die and we carry on --sometimes we stop and remember someone --it may be a tune they wrote or a clip of a film .
however there is a man who will stop the world in its tracks when he goes and he is 100 years old today.
when he speaks -his voice is filled with love for us--- and the thing /insect/whale/snake /bird/ gorilla he also clearly loves and the awe struck speech he uses to describe the thing he loves and is clearly fascinated by .
DAVID ATTENBOROUGH is a giant amongst us -- he and his respectful love for all living things --cuts through the shit show we call present day living and he reminds us that real people who love exist - and can exist ,
and they have stature beyond measure--- freely given to them--
by us all ---- without payment.

Ciarán Ó Lionáird, who represented Ireland at the Olympics, has been found dead in Montreal, Canada, aged 38.
The middle-distance runner was one of the best Irish athletes of his generation, representing his country at both the 2011 World Championships and the London 2012 Olympics in the 1500m.

He was "found dead" so presumably died suddenly. Could it be that he was doping during his career and it caught up with him? Hope not. RIP.
 
Creepy! See the title of this short film about Ciarán Ó Lionáird published April 2024.
He's wearing a mask while running at 3.30 and again near the end. Was he afraid of the auld covid or is it some kind of training method? I know some athletes train breathing exclusively through their nose but his nose seems to be covered.

Un-healthy looking body ~ ~ I'd say some of these athletes are destroying themselves ( maybe performance enhancing drugs / maybe just what you have to do to compete / against others that may well be taking performance enhancing drugs )

He'd probably be better off down the pub ~ Having a few pints / playing a few games of pool ~

Some horizontal dancing with the ladies ! !

Maybe, planning an Irish Revolution ! ! !
