Do you believe in God, deities, souls, spirits & things like that?

Once again, not the sharpest tool in the shed.

Here’s a reminder of the OP…

“I think a genuinely right-wing view of life needs to be based in a genuine belief in God, deities, souls & spirits.

For instance you always find Leftists saying they don't mind Buddhism of the religions because there are no deities or concepts of God in this religion which is probably not entirely true.

The only way to return to a more agricultural way of life is through faith in God, I think.”
Yes, and when it was pointed out to you that the OP said nothing about nationalism, in your usual style of square pegs and round holes, you came up with the excuse that right-wing = nationalism 🙄

All we know about the OP is that it's some shite about a return to agricultural feudalism

Cute, but inaccurate as always. The connection between right-wing thought and nationalism isn’t some arbitrary peg I’ve jammed into a hole - it’s a well-documented historical and ideological overlap, whether or not you’re aware or not.

I’ve said it to you before, but you should really start reading books.

lol Your latest book recommendation was about ghost stories (related of course to your religion), you spend hour after hour watching Christian shite on YouTube by the likes of Daily Dose of "Mic Drop" Spasticulation

Theology is a real subject (not one that I would have any interest in) but I'm not sure your level of consumption even rises to that

That response is pretty incoherent, even by your standards.

The book recommendation was a book about the Devil in a thread about…..*drumroll*….The Devil.

Let us know when you’re finished deflecting and want to go back to discussing the connection between spiritual beliefs and being authentically right wing/nationalistic.

Again, square pegs and round holes, your entire time here has been about a supposed secular nationalism, not right-wing

As I said, you had to then pretend that the OP was, in fact, about nationalism

And ultimately, all of your rubbish is just an attack on atheism. You're obsessed, and laughably transparent

Ah, thank you, James—this is the clearest white flag I’ve ever seen waved. We’ve reached the endgame, where you’ve abandoned engaging with the points raised and retreated into circular arguments, and petty semantics; hoping to obscure the fact you’ve been backed into a corner.

Let’s be honest: you can’t or won’t answer the uncomfortable questions posed—questions about the absence of any meaningful nationalist movement emerging from post-Catholic Ireland, or the undeniable link between faith and national identity throughout Irish history. Instead, you’re clinging to semantics about ‘secular nationalism’ and imaginary grievances about an attack on atheism to dodge the real debate.

It’s transparent, James, and frankly, the argument is already won. Take the defeat with some dignity man.

You have me very wrong, I do not allow an interlocutor to change the subject or indulge in red herrings etc. in a debate. I'm quite particular about that.

Haha 😝

Ah, there goes the last bit of your credibility along with the last shred of your dignity.

One glance at your (garbled mess) ‘Origins’ thread and it’s clear just how absurd your claim is. The most ADHD thread in history.

On this thread alone, you started off by telling everyone that you didn’t belief in a deity (in other words announcing your atheism, like you do on every thread),............. then went on to bring up Adam and Eve............. then had a chat about the meaning of life in which you announced your atheism again (just in case we forgot)........... then proudly re-announced yourself as an ‘ethnic nationalist’ for the millionth time, but couldn’t really explain what you mean by that term and how it applied to you...........then had a back forth with Rolfie about abortion............ then posted a music video of U2 singing the Sweetest Thing........Then said some things about what you believed right and left to mean in terms of the political spectrum (“it’s gay and fake”).........then congratulated Rolfie for finally having the courage to fully come out of the closet as a fellow atheist…..then spent several pages painfully avoiding answering questions or discussing in a way shape or form, the reality that post-Catholic Ireland has produced zero nationalist figures of any notable worth……then complained about me posting a link to a book about the Devil, in a thread about the Devil.

But yeah, you’re a stickler for staying on topic 😂

You took this thread, decided that it was about "secular nationalism" and then went on a multi-page rant against atheism. That's about it

Here lies the dignity of James Dawson - tragically taken too soon by his own keyboard. May it rest in peace, buried beneath a pile of U2 lyrics, half-baked definitions of nationalism, and an ever growing stack of unanswered questions.

R.I.P.
