This section in the middle is about Billy Bulger ( Whitey Bulger's brother )

To be honest, he comes across as some character and sharp operator in these 15 minutes. Quick with the tongue and thoughts.

If he was involved with Whitey, he was smart enough never to get pinned down for that.

Billy Bulger is what is known as a Triple Eagle. Meaning he went to Boston College High School, Boston College and the Boston College Law School.

He was exceedingly sharp and considered himself a patrician and Latin scholar etc. he was tried for accepting bribes regarding a big building downtown but beat the charge. And beat the lads when he was called before a Committee in Congress as well.
His son played music in my pub many times.

Ya can see, even from that 15 minutes that he was an intelligent man.

Whitey Bulger was also smarter than your run of the mill gangster. I suppose if Whitey Bulger had got the capital needed to start a business when he was a young man, then he probably could have been a successful business man ~ ~ Though he probaly would have been bored by trying to be an " Honest " business man ! ! !

Quite possibly a simple case of sperm stealing. Woman invites a man to have casual sex with her and deliberately gets pregnant. Then she breaks up with the guy on some stupid pretext and sues him for child maintenance.

Then she hooks up with another guy and with the first guy's payments plus her new guy, she has a great lifetsyle. Happens to loads of guys. Plus mom bad mouths the real father to the child(ren).

Happened to a South African guy in Sligo - he was working all week, giving half of it to her, very little contact with his daughter, she and her new man and his daughter flying out to the Carribean for sun holidays while he is busting his ass working. He left Ireland and no longer pays a penny. Did he "abandon his daughter" ?

The guy's daughter says she wasn't told who her dad was till she was 12. She contacted him straight away - he replied straightaway. The two girls were due to travel to the US to meet a year or two ago, but the girls changed their mind at the last minute. He should travel to them, they complained. But travel is difficult for a guy with dodgy paperwork.

The moral of the story is: be careful where you put your penis.

many a man did not do due diligence when handing over their life to a conwoman .
you simply do a DNA test on "" YOUR CHILD ""--you do not need the mothers DNA as the absence of the mans is sufficient to determine -- none of my business move along to the real daddy if you can remember who that is.

Could all be true, but If a DNA test proves he is the father, he needs to be there for the children, fcuk the wife if she's playing the field, but they are his kit and kin and needs to be there for them, even if he has absolutely nothing to do with the mother. And of course there is the possibility he's the twat and not the mother, but regardless, his loyalty should be to his own kids.

Thats a fair point, I cannot understand the younger generation, they have been shafted regarding housing, immigration etc, but as long as they can celebrate gay marriage and abortions, in Dublin Castle, tis all grand. Wait till mehole Martin drafts them up to fight Russia 🤣

you have said an awful lot here --i seem to rameish nostalgically but what i am really trying to do is what you have written about --i am trying desperately to let people know there is another way and we were not stupid - we were financially less well off but far richer far happier far more in control--- MUCH MORE IRISH -- WE LIVED IN IRELAND .
our politicians did not obey any foreign interests .
nobody could/would even broach the subject of neutrality -- we had learned the hard way our ports our young men were seen as the rightful property of powerful foreign interests .
none of you will remember the British refused to leave bare island --lough swilly --- cobh .
until 1938 16 years after our independence.
this happened in my parents lifetime and it was frequently mentioned in our house and explained they will be back if we fall asleep .
to hear micheal martin discussing neutrality today and removing the triple lock which would prevent the British from bribing an Irish politician into surrendering our neutrality--my flesh creeps at the mention of his name today.
but only someone who is from my time would get it.

Imo Triple Lock must be retained. To me it is a line in the sand. It must stay.

A rather sweeping statement so allow me to qualify it a little.

There are many well in advance of 55 who are besotted by tech and live life by the rule of FB and Google in general, It is distressing to see that age has not brought the wisdom one would have expected but it is out there alright. Similarly, not every youngster is helpless without a mobile to hand, and most understand the concept that they are in danger of being owned by the device rather than vice versa.

Older generations have always despaired of the younger ones and in many cases their fears have not been without foundation, but through a rather dramatic change in my life of late I find myself immersed in a crowd with with an age profile from beyond retirement to just out of school, and I really don't see as sharp a distinction as you insist upon.

Brussels is highly dangerous at night --a mere 5 meters from the entrance to your hotel you will be attacked by Moroccans .
you learn that the taxi must bring you within 10 ft of the front door of your hotel and you check it is OK to leave the taxi first before you get out and this was 20 years ago and we were 5 Irish and Englishmen and we knew they had knives .
most of the waiters in the restaurants around the palace square are Moroccans and their visible hatred of you is frighting -i resolved for my health never to eat in Brussels again --they would give you the creeps their naked hatred also involves driving up the bill as much as possible including bringing the wrong wine which is 3 times the cost of what you ordered .
i stay in Gent now and it is much better and i stay in Ibis cathedrall hotel which is the cheapest central hotel i can find in gent and i go to the house of 100 beers known locally as the famous HET WATERHUIS DE BEERKAUT.
this great pub has 100 local belgian beers some of which you have to order and pay for a month in advance .
the pub is staffed by 30 Irish people and is neutral territory for the Flemish and Walloon Belgians who dont get along .
go to Gent and enjoy a beautiful city some/much of which is 15th century .

Well , I am only back watching it again now ( doing other stuff ) ~ Up to the 50 minute mark now and it has been very good and very informative ~ Tim Pool has a big audience, so it is good that all this is getting a good airing ~ Some-what surprising that Starmer's Stasi let Tommy Robinson go to America ! ! !
