Lineker's at it again

Not the vast majority, a small majority. The remain demographic are having a field day over this because all the top dogs in the BBC are Tories, and they haven’t stopped other Tories working for the BBC from speaking their mind, like Andrew Neil for example.

I personally think Lineker should be able to speak his mind when he’s not in the BBC studio, just like Neil and others can. Freedom of speech should be for all, not some.
Lineker's contract was renewed in 2020, and he agreed to adhere to strict rules on impartiality - including on social media. I mean, he agreed to it and gets paid a huge sum from the BBC. Why should he be free to disregard his contractual obligations?

But Neil is openly Tory. Is he not contracted to the same impartiality? He’s often voiced his political voice on Twitter in favour of the Tories. Why can’t Lineker speak against them, assuming both have similar contracts?
But he's the political commentator. Linkekar is a Soccer Presenter.
Alan Sugar called the leader of the opposition a Nazi. Was that ok? He also works for the BBC.
Sugar is a long time Labour benefactor.

Is Neil openly Tory? I always thought he was an excellent interviewer - tearing into Labour/Tory politicians

Do you really think a broadcasting corporation, funded by tax payers' money, can sit idly by while an employee compares the sitting government to National socialists?

Should both not adhere to the same contractual guidelines re what they say in the public domain outside work? If not, why not? That’s irrelevant is it not? He tweeted an image of Corbyn next to Hitler. Why didn’t he have to ‘stand down’ from his BBC role?
I don't know nor care about all these cases you're talking about. Corbyn was a mass immigrationist fuckwit.

It was his ilk that allowed 100k English girls to be groomed and raped by Muslims.
Free speech should be for all. Unless contracts say otherwise. The BBC appear to be applying their rules to suit.
This is the first time I've come across woke being censored. Everyone else who had an opinion up until now has been censored/cancelled.

To hear Guardianistas like yourself, Mr Flynn, now start calling for free speech is laughable to be honest.

Free speech should be for all indeed. Its a pity you've only decided that now.

This Lineker shit is getting more exposure than it needs to get...somethings is fishy how everyone is backing him, I take it that's why MOTD show games last night with no commentary...where were the commentators..did they not turn up as a support to Lineker?..... smells like the Government using the BBC/msm to divert us off something that's really going on......or am I paranoid..lol
Yes, very quiet on the Matt Hancock ConVid scandal for the last few days......

Douglas Murray doesn't think that- he thinks people should be sacked from University posts for being "homophobic". The fact that your man is a sports presenter and nothing more makes the whole fuss about him being a twat on twitter and in the process triggering the likes of roc_ really sinister. By supporting his sacking over this you and twochins are basically supporting the right of people like roc_ to terrorize the English.

Yes, and he’s the editor of The Spectator, which isn’t exactly known for political impartiality.

They sat idly by while an employee, Alan Sugar, called Jeremy Corbyn a Nazi.

Do you think they were right to do that?
Alan is one of the Tribe though. They run the Beeb.

On a related note... 😂

Hate is one of many different emotions humans can feel time to time.

Are these arseholes really trying to tell people how to think and what to think?
These really are Orwellian times, we've already seen tons of videos from the UK and the terrorist USA of police calling to people's homes checking their thoughts.
We've seen massive censorship by social media companies over the last 3 years, we've seen 'the west' ban most Russian TV stations and media outlets over the last 12 months in 'defence' of a country that has banned 13 political parties and the Russian Orthodox Church in their corrupt and dirty toxic shithole.

It's madness at this point.

Of course there’s no hate involved when the US, UK, France etc send warplanes and troops to slaughter innocent civilians in Iraq, Libya and in the case of Syria, to train and arm Wahaabi terrorists to slaughter innocents and destroy a country, all while Western Mainstream Media say they’re the good guys.
And thick Paddy facilitated them through Shannon etc.

Like I said, I haven't followed this closely but there's something very fishy about it.

The Beeb is full-blown on white genocide, could the Jewz actually be that offended that the tanned fella belittled the Holocoaster? 🤔

It can be very silly sometimes to reason that because you would react one way in a particular situation that people who are in significant ways radically culturally distinct from yourself would react similarly. Certain Jewish types (actually the types that I find personally most dislikable) get extremely offended by any comparison of the Shoah to other things, no matter how brutal and murderous. And they are types that contemporary Western Civilization enfranchaises with a lot of power.

Philip Davies, MP:

“This pathetic capitulation by the BBC is the start of the end for the licence fee. His epitaph will read ‘Gary Lineker – the man who destroyed the BBC licence fee’. This is a watershed moment.”
