Gerry Hutch could publicly declare his support for Malachy Steenson and not run himself as Gerry Hutch has no chance of being elected himself ! ! !

Hutch is running for negative reasons. When you know of Hutch's dodgy connections to the Traitors of Sinn Féin and that Hutch has to have been a TOUT ( as so many of the Shinners are ) all along = = Then you can work out what Hutch is up to !

You are just not getting it, even if all his voters voted for Steenson, he still would be eliminated 1000s of votes short of a win.

There is a possibility of a seat there, for Steenson in a general election especially if Hutch stayed out of it !

Why is Hutch running ~ He has zero political, ideology / nous / capability / idea what he would do if he was elected !

Hutch is running to sabotage Steenson ( as best he can ) and to help Sinn Féin i.e The Irish Establishment. Hutch has connections to Sinn Féin / dodgy connections ! ! !

Why don't you just say that Steenson is the best anti-mass-immgration candidate and say ~ all the best to him.

There is no sensible reason to be pro Hutch, and even less reasons to be against Steenson !

What is wrong with Steenson getting the Maximum possible Vote that he can get ? !

That can have affects in tight elections ( general elections ) !

If Hutch wasn't running you would get a clearer picture of support for Steenson, most of Hutch voters would from same demographic. Then Steenson could build on that for general election. Between them they got over 20% of first count votes , more than any of the other main parties candidates. Obviously not all Hutch voters would pick Steenson but there's no doubt he did damage to Steenson more than any other candidate

I get what you're saying about Hutch/Steenson.

Although, as @Neptune pointed out, between them they got 20% first prefs. But I thought your analysis was based largely on most Hutch voters not voting for Steenson a'tall (as second pref etc.)
