I have never come across anyone in Ireland who actually listens to U2- and I don't think I have in England for that matter come across anyone who does who was not North American or something.

The republican will not pull back because it only takes a handful of the about 200 in the House to vote for the democrats, I am not sure how many democrats are voting anti war. But bottom line, the vast majority of both sides, are pro war.

According to this ex CIA man. The ukes had 60000 nati trained troops for the counteroffensive. Not counting regular troops. And 40 to 45000 are dead or wounded.

So the tactics have to changed now, drones etc , these might look good but will not change anything.

The other option is to escalate . But that is to happen now or never as we near winter.

So what happens? They can get voted out and Sinn Fein get to take over for all the magic coalitions wrecked mistakes?
They FFGN get to shlink off with the fat pensions and new consultant positions working for their past favourite cronies but who will get to coalesce with Sinn Fein?
