This is from My quora feed posted in early December. Putin trying to stir up shit in Latvia.

According to Roman Svitan, Russia is preparing a hybrid war against Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Finland. FSB and GRU agents, Russian residents and newly arrived Russian citizens will be used. Should they be deported ASAP back to Russia?
main-qimg-2393401ba28254f1e214bf29e9465594

Yesterday, Vladimir Putin openly threatened Latvia, where, according to him, 40% of the population are Russian-speaking, complaining about the request of Latvian authorities for their citizens to be able to speak Latvian.
”I don’t think that happiness will come to the homes of those who pursue such a policy. I don’t know how many there are now, but in Latvia, in my opinion, 40% of the population was Russian-speaking. Surely there are still a lot of them now. If they pursue such a policy in in relation to people who wanted to live in this or that country, worked there, created some benefits for this country, and they will be treated like a pig, then in the end they themselves will face such outrage within their own country,” stated Putin.
main-qimg-b6c5008cedca10a4f9c7e03d096d950a

Kremlin bots in social networks immediately started repeating the idea that “Latvia is fascist, it treats its own people like a fascist state, Latvia needs denazification”. In all different languages, by the way, including Kazakh, Bulgarian, Serbian, Hungarian, and so on. X/Twitter gives such comments a boost (Musk isn’t a Russian spy, you are saying?).
This feels like deja vu.
Russia attacked Ukraine in 2014, occupying Crimea. It was war, but a hybrid, undeclared war.
main-qimg-4a9682783ef1cbde75d96cc94e411569

“Green people” without insignia entered Crimean cities and took over important administrative buildings. Putin-alighted president Yanukovich didn’t give an order to resist. At first, Russia denied that these were Russian forces that entered Crimea, but later Putin admitted it.
And Russia’s hybrid war against Ukraine didn’t start in 2014. For years before that, Russia was preparing forces within Ukraine, through “Cossack movements”, brainwashing them about “one people”, “brotherly nations”, “the world government” and “aggressive bloc NATO”. The movements weren’t large, but they were thoroughly brainwashed and prepped for action.
The Russian TV was prepping masses on the large scale, embedding the same ideas.
main-qimg-98ec81d20dd6d06830985c202fb3011f

The WWII began in exactly the same way and it was called the “The Phoney War”.
Winston Churchill called it, “Twilight War". It was also called, “the Sitzkrieg” ("the sitting war": a word play on blitzkrieg created by the British press).
In French, it was referred to as the drôle de guerre ("funny" or "strange" war).
Meanwhile, Russians are accumulating missiles – they are replenishing their strategic stockpile, said the spokesperson of the Air Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Ihnat.
In the last 3 months, Russia mostly has been using "Shaheds” to attack the peaceful cities if Ukraine. Now, they are not merely accumulating missiles; they are restoring their strategic reserves. Most of these missiles also serve as carriers for nuclear weapons. They need this critical stockpile to threaten NATO countries.
Russia has a lot of assets in Europe among Russian citizens who moved there or came “to study”. It is these assets that organize pro-Russian rallies in Germany, Latvia, and other European countries. The hybrid war of Russia against European Union, the UK and the USA has started in 2007 with Putin’s Munich speech.
European countries, and especially these near the border with Russia (including Kaliningrad region) must be especially vigilant in regard to their national security.
Sooner or later, Russia’s assets show their colors.
Deporting those who openly support the Russian aggression against Ukraine and start stirring political moods towards “protection of the Russian-speaking population” in Baltics is an understandable measure of precaution.”

Bit of narrative management going on there!

Another set of sanctions, the twelfth so far, as Russia turns away from the west and laughs all the way to the bank.

Notice how the MSM just tag the new 'sanctions' to this article knowing they affect EU citizens the most. :)

It will be very bad for business if they send the abrams to get blown up by a drone

I remember Jarry absolutely wetting himself over the sending of Abrams tanks but it appears they haven't dared let them near the front line yet. Another game changer confined to the locker room while conscripts continue to get slaughtered the old fashioned way, by bullets and shells in trenches and minefields. :(

Video of an abrams being blown up might cause the stock market and dollar to collapse.

It would also devastate morale for the ukes.

What they need now is long range missiles to fire deep not Russia as far as Moscow

Here's Blinken again ensuring the wars continue.

Someone needs to take this knacker out.
The MIC has been caught on the hop in Ukraine. Big fat military contracts to provide technological 'solutions' to killing more people have yielded only a little of what was doubtless hyped when the sales negotiations were taking place. It's all reverted to guns and cannon, bullets and shells, with a few low cost drones thrown in. It's hardly surprising that the emphasis is on air defence where techno gadgetry can still play a worthwhile role. Meanwhile, back at the front line the catastrophic inability to provide the simple stuff, like shells, is screwing over the Ukr army.

What makes him the think that the West gives a toss nowadays. Do all the Ukranians suffer from this degree of entitlement?
I think the penny may drop that they've been betrayed soon enough. It's not their fault, they were promised unending consistent arms and financial support and of course that's impossible, and not what America ever does.

These folks should have looked at the historical precedents of their supposed benefactors.

Many will be glad to have Russia's support in rebuilding and maintaining the country.
Back to the good old days and they won't have to watch the west reap their county and charge them double on their own turf.

and the idea to use washing machines as a source of components was first implemented just before the liberation of Donbas by Western "very large industrial company, [conglomerate]"(rumors say BMW)

She's an absolute disgrace being an ex minister of defense in the Government of Germany. She's a disaster zone coming from a country which has only spent 70 years paying the reparations bill to some countries (not all) for WW2 destruction.
Now German Industry is shrinking due to war economics but she wants more more more spending on meat grinding materials - She's Mad and her leadership is Bad, it's going to make many of us very Sad.
And we all have to cater for the refugee fall-out from her F**king wars. Insane! what Gain??

This will give Russia a reason to show off their MIG-29/31/35s and the Sukhoi SU-27/57's

Will there be a game left to change by then?

Of the 1000s of planes, why the pitiful numbers. 19 from Denmark in 3 months, 6 from Holland in 6 months.

They will likely be shot down or destroyed by a cheap drone on the ground.

It is all about getting €50 billion from the EU and $61 billion from the US.

That is serious cash.

I sense that a lot of people here are hurting for cash, with even one lad of 76 , a Biden fool on facebook, saying he is back working.

I think Americans have reached the end of their tether finally, so a big cash push will be rushed for as soon as Congress returns, which is Monday for The House and Tuesday for both.

So we will very quickly know the fate of the 61 billion dollars.

Optics.
Play along.
There's no point in wasting money and resources.
The outcome is not in doubt.
The only question is how long will it be for the conclusion of the conflict.
Dealing with the Russians is going to happen again.
At the Russians grace.
Or maybe not.

Isn't it weird how western 'leaders' condemn these attacks when Russia do it but are mostly silent when the moneylenders do it in Gaza......

One must presume they believe that Ukrainian and Jewish Nazis as good and anyone opposing them is bad.
What an upside down world we live in.
