'We're not Amazon': UK Defence Secretary says Zelensky could show more 'gratitude' over contributions from West
The UK Defence Secretary has told President Zelenskyy to display more “gratitude” if he wants Western countries to continue sending weapons to Ukraine

Ben Wallace has also hit out at Ukraine's weapons "wishlist" as he urged the country's leader to show more appreciation for Western military aid after Volodymyr Zelenskiy’s complaints on Tuesday that his country had not been issued a firm timetable or set of conditions for joining Nato.

MOSCOW, July 11. /TASS/. The Ukrainian military lost over 200 troops and more than 20 pieces of heavy armor, including five Leopard tanks and eight Bradley infantry fighting vehicles in the Zaporozhye area over the past day, commander of the Russian army’s Storm Z battalion with the call sign Ali told TASS on Tuesday.
"The Ukrainian army sustained heavy losses in the Orekhov-Rabotino direction in the Zaporozhye Region as a result of operations by Russian forces. Our guys destroyed over 200 Ukrainian personnel, eight Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, ten T-62 tanks and five Leopard tanks," he said.
About 1,000 Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in the battles, he added.
"Currently, they [Ukrainian troops]
retreated towards Orekhov and Malaya Tokmachka," he added.

The error of introducing Leopard Tanks/armour has been very well understood and explained exhaustively by neutral experts
Anyway, it's too difficult to get broken down western armour towed to a rail depot for repairs . . . just so it can return to the front for another shot?

BERLIN (Sputnik) - Germany will withdraw from the project for the construction of a maintenance hub for Leopard 2 tanks in Poland due to Warsaw's inflated expectations regarding maintenance payment, German newspaper reported on Wednesday, citing sources.
Berlin wants the tanks to be repaired as close to the Ukrainian border as possible, but Poland has set what Germany described as unreasonable prices for maintenance of the military equipment, the newspaper reported.

. . . . as Poland demanded over 100,000 euros ($110,000) for maintenance of one tank as part of the primary assessment. For comparison, in Germany, the cost of such work does not usually exceed 12,000 euros per tank, the report said.

Tank Crews would be proving difficult to source too?

Just been catching up with TASS and from the other side Putin is now referring to the Wagner escapade as an armed mutiny which got nowhere due to lack of support. Other items include a look at the seizure of Russian assets by the UK, which actually hasn't happened yet because there is no legal mechanism available to do it, so the UK government is just bullshittihg once again. And then there is the grain deal which, Russia notes, can hardly be extended if it is not allowed to trade freely. As for the cluster bombs the Russians see it as an act of desperation as the couter offensive fails. It is also pointed out that the F16 deal is not yet finalised and its ratification may be the only 'win' that Zelensky can bring back from the pow wow.

The F16 pilots will be marked out for special attention as well I should think.

Both NATO and Zelensky were stupid enough to believe their own propaganda, it's now ending in tears, just like the ages old melodrama of a poor girl falling in love with a rich man and then being shunned once she has been used while the rich man returns to his kind.

They'd be of a kamikaze mindset who'd expect to go down in a blaze of glory but so long as they make kills then it's mission accomplished, prestige & bonus's if they can make it home.
Realistically those jets won't try to compete against air superiority.
Probably sent over to provide quick v.i.p. evacuations on a get-away-quick airstrip in the event of pushing Russia too far 🥵

Not sure about the evacuation role though as they are single seaters.

Also are twin seater's. Probably there as some token of cover/security for visiting VIP's who pop over for a glimpse of the action 'Live' - Richman action pursuits, climb everest, dive the titanic, fly the war!

Google has launched a new AI called Bard.

I asked it, when will the Russia/Ukraine conflict erupt into WW3, this is its response.

BARD - GOOGLE AI

It is impossible to say for sure when or if the current Ukraine-Russia conflict will erupt into World War III. There are a number of factors that could contribute to an escalation of the conflict, including:

  • The continued use of heavy weapons and indiscriminate shelling by Russian forces, which could lead to civilian casualties and a humanitarian crisis.
  • The involvement of other countries in the conflict, either directly or through the provision of military aid.
  • A miscalculation or misunderstanding by either side, which could lead to an accidental or intentional escalation of the conflict.
However, it is also possible that the conflict could be contained, or even resolved, through diplomacy. The two sides have held several rounds of talks, but so far these have not been successful in reaching a lasting ceasefire.

Ultimately, the risk of World War III depends on a number of factors, including the actions of the Russian and Ukrainian governments, the response of the international community, and the possibility of miscalculation or misunderstanding. It is impossible to say for sure when or if the conflict will escalate, but it is a risk that must be taken seriously.

Here are some additional thoughts on the matter:

  • The risk of World War III is real, but it is not inevitable.
  • The international community must continue to work to prevent the conflict from escalating.
  • The people of Ukraine must be supported in their fight for freedom and democracy.
We must all hope that the current conflict does not escalate into World War III. The consequences of such a war would be catastrophic for the entire world.

Not showing much intelligence with that level of bias, although I guess it's just reflecting the majority of the crap that is out there.

Former president of Brazil had Mr Nothing Man summed up over a year ago -

RIO DE JANEIRO, May 4, 2022. /TASS/. Brazil’s former President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva has said Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky was interested in plunging his country into a war.
"He did want war. If he didn’t want war, he would have negotiated a little more," da Silva, who served as president from 2003-2010, said in an interview to Time magazine that was published on Wednesday.
Da Silva said the West is encouraging Zelensky. "He thinks he is the cherry on your cake. We should be having a serious conversation: "OK, you were a nice comedian. But let us not make war for you to show up on TV," the former president said.
Da Silva said he doesn’t know the president of Ukraine but thinks he’s acting weird. "It seems like he’s part of the spectacle. He is on television morning, noon, and night. He is in the U.K. parliament, the German parliament, the French parliament, the Italian parliament, as if he were waging a political campaign. He should be at the negotiating table," the Brazilian politician said.

Da Silva said that, "People are stimulating hate against Putin. That won’t solve things! We need to reach an agreement.".
