There is no evidence Russia interfered with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen’s airplane during her recent flight to Bulgaria, the country’s authorities have said. The European Commission earlier claimed Bulgarian authorities had confirmed the incident.
On Sunday von der Leyen’s pilots allegedly reported issues with their navigation systems while landing in Plovdiv on a PR exercise to visit “Europe's frontline states.” The Financial Times Brussels bureau chief Henry Foy, who was on board the press junket, reported that the flight was “forced to circle for an hour.” EU officials later told Sky of suspected “blatant Russian interference.”
NATO chief Mark Rutte claimed “we are all on the eastern flank now, whether you live in London or Tallinn. ”
However, Bulgarian Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov has outright contradicted Brussels’ claim and the reporting, telling parliament on Thursday that no evidence of a Russian attack had been found and that von der Leyen’s plane did not suffer any serious issues, only short-term signal degradation, which is common in densely populated areas.

“After checking the onboard records, we saw that the pilot did not express any concerns. The plane was in the holding area for about five minutes, and the signal quality remained good the entire time,” Zhelyazkov was quoted as saying by Bild.
Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister and Transport Minister Grozdan Karadjov has also confirmed that there is “not a single fact that confirms the claim that the plane’s GPS signal was jammed,” citing empirical data, radio intercepts, recordings of our civil and military departments.
In an interview with bTV, Karadjov also denied sharing any information about the incident with the European Commission.
Moscow on Thursday dismissed the “preposterous” accusations pushed by Brussels, pointing to publicly available flight tracking data which indicates that von der Leyen’s jet had reported good GPS signal quality throughout the flight.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova suggested that the EU’s accusations were “not just paranoia, but a cynical plot to distract their own population from the EU’s worsening economic situation and from considering the real culprits behind the European crisis – the irresponsible, kleptocratic political elites of the European Union.”
Since 2024, the Nordic and Baltic countries have accused Russia of disrupting communications on planes and ships as a form of “hybrid warfare,” allegations Russia has denied.

The wannabee Fourth Reich really are a dumb bunch of bastards who think people across the EU cannot see exactly what they're at.

EU state calls out bloc’s ‘hypocrites’ over Russian oil

Many nations “secretly” buy Russian crude via intermediaries while “loudly criticizing” Hungary for its imports, FM Peter Szijjarto has said

Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto has accused the EU of “hypocrisy” over Russian oil, saying many members criticize Hungary for its imports while quietly buying the crude source through intermediaries.
Szijjarto was asked about US President Donald Trump’s call for west European states to halt Russian oil purchases. Trump, frustrated with slow peace progress in Ukraine, reportedly told Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky and his European backers in a Thursday call that Western European states must stop importing Russian oil. Trump said Russia received €1.1 billion ($1.3 billion) in fuel sales from the EU over the past year.
Szijjarto said Hungary, being landlocked, relies on pipelines for oil and gas, and Russian deliveries remain essential for its supply security.
“Let’s not let the hypocrites mislead us, because among those who are the loudest in criticizing Hungary and Slovakia for their oil purchases, there is a significant number who are also buying Russian oil, only indirectly, through Asia,” he said at a press conference in Budapest on Friday. “They buy Russian oil secretly because it is cheaper. We buy Russian oil openly because we have no other option.”

He also blamed the EU for blocking Hungary’s diversification efforts, saying Brussels had refused its request to expand Southeast European pipeline capacity, while Croatia – Hungary’s southern neighbor – raised transit fees instead of enlarging capacity on an alternative route.
Most EU states cut off direct imports of Russian crude under sanctions imposed over the Ukraine conflict, including a 2023 embargo on seaborne oil and a price cap on Russian crude. Brussels aims to eliminate all Russian energy imports by 2028 under its RePowerEU plan.
Hungary and Slovakia, both heavily reliant on Russian supplies, have opposed the plan, warning that cutting Moscow’s energy would undermine the bloc’s security and drive up prices. Both faced criticism from Brussels over continued purchases, though multiple media reports have indicated that some EU nations also buy fuel refined from Russian crude in third countries.

Moscow has long argued the bloc is damaging its own economy by cutting Russian energy, forcing itself to turn to more expensive alternatives or indirect imports through intermediaries.

Merz ally opposed to NATO troops in Ukraine

The move would be perceived as the first step toward Kiev joining the bloc – a red line for Russia, Markus Soder has said

NATO countries should not send troops to Ukraine in case of a ceasefire, as Russia would perceive it as the first step toward Kiev joining the bloc, Markus Soder, the leader of Bavaria’s Christian Social Union (CSU), has said.
In an interview with the Rheinische Post on Friday, Soder, an ally of German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, reiterated his opposition to sending troops to Ukraine, arguing that the move would escalate tensions with Russia.
”I find it hard to imagine NATO troops being stationed there. Russia would never accept that. It would be a precursor to Ukraine’s accession to NATO,” he said.
Soder added that even if Berlin seriously considers the idea, the German Army isn’t ready, as it’s “stretched to the limit, both financially and in terms of personnel.”

Earlier this week, Merz signaled that while a German troop deployment remains a possibility, it could only be considered after a ceasefire. “Until then, there will certainly be no troop deployments to Ukraine,” he said. “Then we will have to look at what the agreement with Russia looks like. This cannot be done against Russia, it can only be done with Russia.”
In August, Bild reported that Berlin had abandoned discussions over sending German troops to Ukraine, following remarks by US President Donald Trump that Washington would not deploy ground troops.
Opinion polls also show a lack of support for sending German troops to Ukraine. An INSA survey in late August suggested that 56% of Germans are opposed to sending troops, with only 28% in favor. Opposition is the strongest in eastern regions, where skepticism toward military aid for Ukraine is more widespread.
Russian officials have warned against deploying NATO troops to Ukraine, arguing that the bloc’s expansion was one of the root causes of the conflict.
President Vladimir Putin has said there would be “no sense” in a Western troop deployment once a settlement is reached, adding that if Western forces enter Ukraine while the fighting continues, Moscow “would consider them legitimate military targets.”

German MP calls for access to UK and French nuclear weapons

Jens Spahn believes there needs to be European-level nuclear deterrence and that Berlin should take the lead

Germany should have access to French and British nuclear weapons, senior lawmaker Jens Spahn has said. In return, Berlin could work with Paris and London to modernize their arsenals, he told the newspaper FAZ.
Spahn, who leads the joint CDU/CSU parliamentary group, has emerged as a strong proponent of an EU-level nuclear weapons system.
“We… need an ability to deter at the European level… together with the French and the British,” he said in an interview published on Saturday, arguing that US nuclear arms in Europe are no longer sufficient.
The MP, a former federal health minister, said debate on the issue “will only happen if Germany pushes it forward.” He suggested that London and Paris could keep most control over their nuclear arsenals, while Berlin could take part in a modernization program.
In July, Spahn also spoke about the need “to talk about German or European [access] to the nuclear arsenals of France and Great Britain” in light of what he called the “threat” coming from Russia. Nations without nuclear deterrence will “become pawns in global politics,” he argued.

IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi has warned that Berlin could develop its own nuclear bomb within months if it chose to.
Spahn’s remarks come as Berlin has taken a more hardline stance towards Russia under Chancellor Friedrich Merz, who pledged an additional €5 billion ($5.6 billion) in military aid to Ukraine after taking office in May.
Last month, he claimed that Germany was “already in a conflict” with Russia and accused President Vladimir Putin of “destabilizing large parts of our country.”
Moscow has dismissed allegations of having hostile intent toward Western nations as “nonsense” and fearmongering, and condemned what it calls the West’s “reckless militarization.”
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has warned recently that growing Russophobia and militarization in Germany signal a slide into a “Fourth Reich,” and accused Western governments of seeking dominance under the guise of democracy.

Spahn is a queer, bent and mediocre - an odious figure. Likely plenty material exists to blackmail him til next Easter. I recall he acquired a million euro pad - way past his paygrade - during de covid. When he towed the big pharma line as 'health' minister.
Degenerate.
To add: he was a bank teller in his previous life. No degree. Not an accountant/ lawyer/ anything.
Dimmer than my porker's leavings

Why is Germany covering for the terrorists that attacked it?

The worst act of eco-terrorism in recent history has become a surreal exercise in convenientBy Tarik Cyril Amar,
Why is Germany covering for the terrorists that attacked it?

Our political elites in the US and EU have learned not to care, and more importantly, they have learned how to make us not care, or at least not enough. The worst political scandal of recent US history is the oddly inexplicable career of Jeffrey Epstein, convicted pedophile criminal and suspected intelligence operative as well as intimate friend of, it seems, most of the American establishment (in a thoroughly ‘bipartisan’ manner with vile favors to all). Its fall-out should already have profoundly changed America’s domestic and foreign policy, especially in the Middle East. And yet, it probably never will.
In NATO-EU Europe, things are at least equally dismal, as is appropriate for what is really just the most masochistic backyard of the American empire. There, the single worst scandal is what has happened to the Nord Stream pipelines at the bottom of the Baltic. Built at a cost of around $20 billion to bring inexpensive gas from Russia to Germany and the EU as a whole, in September 2022, they were mostly destroyed by sabotage.
That was the worst act of eco-terrorism in European history. Especially, with Russia and China now finalizing the building of the Power of Siberia Two pipeline, the destruction of Nord Stream will also be remembered as part of a historic reorientation of Eurasian energy flows that locked in Germany’s – and the EU’s – self-Morgenthauing de-industrialization.
This insane event was then followed by a most bizarre cover-up. Indeed, between the attack and the cover-up, it is impossible to tell which has been the more stunning, jaw-dropping outrage. But then, we don’t have to: the whole thing is one big me
A mess that, while buried under a dirty mudslide of Western mainstream media propaganda, has a way of bubbling up to the surface like methane from a bombed gas pipeline. And so the stink never really goes away: The most recent malodorous bubble has popped in Italy, where police arrested a Ukrainian terrorist – that’s the correct term for those committing acts of terrorism – on a family trip.
Sergey K., also a businessman (in – oh, coincidence! – the energy business) as well as a member of Kiev’s military and intelligence services (in reality: international terrorism organizations, as openly if jocularly admitted by one of their leaders), stands plausibly accused of playing a key role in the Nord Stream attack. The versatile Ukrainian will face extradition to Germany. Meanwhile, the German authorities are still searching for several more Ukrainian terrorists who took part in the attack.
The shameful, ludicrous roles that Western media and would-be experts – especially in Germany, the country most damaged by the attack, such as Carlo Masala or Janis Kluge – have played in absurdly trying to blame this devious terrorist strike against all of Germany on Russia is already old hat. Yet it is worth remembering: The fact that it has made no difference to their careers and artificial resonance in mainstream media tells us much about the abyss of deception and self-deception that Western propaganda has become.
Yet even after the initial smearing of Russia was mostly abandoned, this is not a story of the truth finally prevailing. In reality, what we are witnessing is one silly set of lies superseding another. In essence, ever since it became impossible for even the most dishonorable, unpatriotic, and ruthless Western information warriors to pretend that Russia had detonated one of its most valuable assets, we have been stuck in a second, improved – if that is the word – phase of daft stories for dummies: Now every good Western mainstream media consumer is supposed to believe that it was half a dozen Ukrainians, and they alone, who used the equivalent of a bathtub with a sail to sabotage heavily armored pipelines at the bottom of a cold, inhospitable sea.
Russians who know what they are talking about, meanwhile, are pointing at the involvement of highly trained and well-equipped special forces belonging to major NATO players, for instance Britain. As so often recently, the Russian view makes much more sense than the inanities pandered in the West.
Fed with that nonsense, we are also asked to believe that the US had nothing to do with the attack. Never mind the revelations of Seymour Hersh, star US investigative journalist, and the fact that America had a perfect motive, as had Germany’s friendly neighbor Poland (in both cases a combination of clear and brutal financial interests and cold-blooded geopolitics). Even more ridiculous, the current Western mainstream party line is that the nice, decent chaps at the CIA warned those hotheaded Ukrainians against that Baltic plunge. Yes, of course! And Kissinger really tried to have Allende helicoptered out of Chile’s presidential palace just before he blew his brains out before the CIA-sponsored plotters got to him.
In yet another twist for the ultra-gullible, even Ukraine’s authoritarian, clinically mendacious, ultra-corrupt, and mostly stoned leader Vladimir Zelensky is exempted from suspicion. He, so that tale goes, also wasn’t in favor of the explosive diving party; only wicked out-of-control General Valery Zaluzhny was.
By now, a major German newspaper is reporting that the German prosecutors are getting ready to name Zaluzhny as the terror attack’s mastermind. This is – no pun intended – explosive: Currently, Zaluzhny, an old and bitter rival of Zelensky, is an unlikely ambassador to the UK (his English is rotten, his diplomatic skills are non-existent, but then, that’s quite common in Ukraine). More importantly, he is also a likely Zelensky replacement if the West should decide to palace-coup or color-revolution the latter away.
You think all of the above is as crazy as it gets? You are still underestimating the NATO-EU Europeans. Because here is the next level of insanity: Having agreed on a stupid story without rhyme and reason that shifts the whole blame to Ukraine and Ukraine alone, Germany is not even ready to draw any reasonable consequences from its own cover up.
Instead, Berlin has made it clear that recognizing Kiev as being behind the worst attack ever on German vital infrastructure and national interests in peacetime does not mean the government intends to take any action against Ukraine. Sanctions? Retaliation? Perish the thought! On the contrary, sheepish Berlin is promising Kiev ever more billions of Euros (on top of the 44 billion already squandered there), while demonstratively not even bringing up Ukraine’s act of terrorism and de facto war against Germany. That, after all, would be so very, very impolite.
And all of that against the background of threatening its own people, and thus, those taxpayers producing the billions fed to Kiev regime corruption with a very hard time of austerity and social services devastation. Challenged about this madness at a press conference, the German authorities have nothing to say to their citizens. So much for who they feel they owe accountability to. Definitely not the German people.
Germany’s leaders are appeasing Ukraine in a ludicrous manner. Beyond that, they are appeasing everyone else who was also involved in this massive, devastating deindustrialization attack on a country already in deep economic trouble – that is, most likely Poland, the US, and Norway, at least. And all of the above is obvious for those with eyes to see. Yet nothing gives in Germany. Or just not yet?

Zitler's lads trying to get the Poles involved again?

Or the Poles are trying to start WW3? So coincidental this happens within hours of this gowl stating the following.

Poland's newly elected nationalist President Karol Nawrocki warned yesterday that Russian President Vladimir Putin was ready to invade more countries.

"We do not trust Vladimir Putin's good intentions," Mr Nawrocki told reporters at a press conference in Helsinki.

"We believe that Vladimir Putin is ready to also invade other countries."[/URL]

If the Russian Army was that big and powerful then it would have conquered Ukraine and be half way to Brussels by now. And how is Russia going to afford it anyway, aren't we reminded daily that Putin has bankrupted the country?

Western Propaganda is so good, that a lot of people can be made to believe two totally contrasting things at the same time ! !

On the one-hand Russia is useless and couldn't beat it's way out of a paper-bag in the Ukraine = = On the other hand, The Russians are just over the hill and are going to take over all of Europe this afternoon ? !

Why are so many Western Normies so easy to fool ? !

Bulgaria debunks von der Leyen jet claims

Isn't that fake news and misinformation, y'know, the sort of stuff we are all meant to boo and hiss at?

Have the fact checkers been on to it at all?

Poland has formally invoked Article 4 of NATO’s founding treaty following what it described as “an act of aggression” by Russia. The article provides for consultations in case one of the bloc’s members believes its security is threatened.
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has said he made the request after informing lawmakers on the alleged airspace violations. Russia has yet to comment on the accusations.
According to Tusk, the Polish military detected 19 separate violations of its airspace over seven hours, with at least three and possibly four drones downed.
He claimed the aircraft came from Belarus rather than Ukraine, and characterized the incident as a Russian “provocation.”
The Belarusian military earlier reported having given their Polish counterparts early warning that some drones used by Ukrainian and Russian forces for mutual attacks “lost their track as a result of the impact of the parties’ electronic warfare assets.”
“This allowed the Polish side to respond promptly to the actions of the drones by scrambling their forces on duty,”
said General Pavel Muraveiko, the chief of the general staff of Belarus.
The general added that some of the stray aircraft had been intercepted by Belarusian air defenses. He stressed that the exchanges with Poland were part of regular communications about incoming threats, with the Polish side regularly informing officials in Belarus about aircraft detected in Ukrainian airspace.
Multiple officials in the EU expressed solidarity with Poland, pinning the blame on Russia. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen mentioned the incident in her “state of the union” address at the European Parliament on Wednesday, urging continued military assistance for Ukraine.

The EU’s foreign policy chief, Kaja Kallas, called the incident “the most serious European airspace violation by Russia” since the escalation of the Ukraine conflict in 2022, claiming that “indications suggest it was intentional, not accidental.”
Last week, former Polish President Andrzej Duda mentioned a November 2022 incident in which a Ukrainian interceptor missile landed on Polish territory, killing a local resident. Ukraine’s Vladimir Zelensky claimed it was an intentional Russian attack and urged Warsaw to call for NATO-level retaliation.
Duda said the Ukrainian leadership was “obviously” trying to get the US-led organization to fight Russia directly, describing such a scenario as a “dream” for Kiev, but unacceptable for Poland.

The Ukrainians sent a bunch of unarmed refurbished shot down Russian drones into Poland to provide a casus belli .
Probably going to try it in with Belarus
A lot more likely.
It takes a certain type of retard to believe the EU propaganda.

What would Russia gain by doing so? Nothing, so why would they bother!

In Oct 2026, do you even read the rubbish you post
Thats how arms deliveries work, Dec.

As quick as they are delivered, Ukraine will use them.

The headline should be "Ukraine to fire 800 ERAMs at Russia by Oct 2026".

Any confirmation of that at all JPC?
Well these particular drones didn't have the range for starters 600 700 kms.
launched from Russian controlled territory in the Donbas, had a limited range of 750 km and the Polish border, which is about 1,000 km from the Donbas, did not have the capability of flying that far.
And more to the point.
Why?
The only reason is to get Nato involved.
And assorted euro idiots.

Some folk here may recall a version of Tank declaring to all and sundry that thanks to his very cleverness he could state categorically that Russia could hardly bolt together a Meccano kit let alone build a few extra trucks.

This, from Wikipedia -

In July 2023, Russian Defense Minister stated that the supplies of KAMAZ multipurpose vehicles had surged 17.6 times since early 2022.
