America is 33 trillion dollars in debt and rising.
It's only a matter of time before it goes bang and the ensuing civil war will make the Uki scrap look like a a schoolyard punch up.

The evidence of Ukrainian despair is becoming increasingly clear. In an attempt to obtain new sources of energy, the possibility of using prisoners to generate electricity is being discussed in the Ukrainian Parliament. In practice, this would be an extreme human effort to make a small amount of energy, which shows how desperate Kiev is to reduce the effects of its energy crisis.

The proposal was presented by Ukrainian legislator Sergey Grivko and will be evaluated by other parliamentarians soon. What he plans is to literally “motivate 50,000 inmates to generate electricity with the help of bicycle generators.” Thus, Grivko and his political partners hope to at least alleviate the disastrous effects of the serious energy crisis currently affecting Ukraine.

A more situation is the Hungarian minority- as long as they had their cultural and civil right respected even though Hungarian nationalist ultras wanted to take back areas or whatever nothing was going to happen. Zelenski has spoken about how he wants to culturally homogenize the Ukraine top down and that is going to possibly lead to actual violence with the Hungarian State.

1. It will take as much energy to weld these units up as will be generated.
2. The prisoners will be expending more energy than usual and that energy will need replacing by extra food, which of course will need transporting to the prison.
3. Etc...

The Nazis had a better grasp of the economics of this sort of thing and worked the POWs until they ran out of energy, and then they were simply left to die. In effect, they viewed the prisoners with surplus fat as an energy source to be exploited. Kiev needs to do some more research if they truly want to emulate the German inhumanity of the 1940s.
 
A lad who keeps an eye on events told me today that America makes 155 mm artillery rounds at $6000 a piece,
Russia makes them @ 600 each and North Korea is supplying them to Russia @ $60 equivelent.

Ethnic Hungarians in Trans-Carpathia have been very poorly treated by the Zelensky regime. More men from this region have been sent directly to the front lines than any other region. The term ethnic cleansing has popped up more than once.

Don't know. From the Russians I've spoken to they have no ill feeling towards Hungarians. They're grateful for Orban's support. The Ukrainians, maybe.

That $323bn in aid has to have gone somwhere and the MIC lining its pockets seems as likely a sink for it as any.

When Zelenski spoke about copying "Israel" something that people in the West did not get is that like his heroes Ben Gurion and Golda Meir did to Jews under their control he means to impose cultural conformity as far as he can on his subjects.
