Yeah, come the winter and the ground is hard there's another pig sty and a couple of log piles they need to take before declaring victory complete.Must be spring 2024 now for the great offensive , TV coverage has been very light since Israel got going

Mutiny is brewing in the Russian army
It has been reported that there are at least 16 places in occupied regions of Ukraine where Russian troops have been detained for insubordination.www.newsweek.com

Minor offences only, kids who got themselves into trouble rather than hardened criminals. The British Army for one used to take lads with a criminal record and integrate them back into society through service. No doubt the plan failed on numerous occasions but it probably helped a lot of others as well. On balance I'd say it is a positive move.![]()

From prison to the frontlines: Thousands of Russian convicts sent to fight in Ukraine
Russia sent hundreds of thousands of troops into its war in Ukraine and suffered immense casualties. Some were drawn from prisons, both officially and through a private military company called the Wagner Group. It's the law. What a lod of old bollux.
The Irish Army used to do the same. I once worked with a guy that was given the ultimatum ~ Either sign up or go to jail ~ He signed up.Minor offences only, kids who got themselves into trouble rather than hardened criminals. As for the BBC saying - Similarly to Wagner's prisoner units, Storm-Z detachments are reportedly often treated as an expendable force thrown into battle - with little consideration for the lives of their servicemen, then we have come to expect only shite from that source. When in it says 'reportedly', who exactly was doing the reporting, Zelensky?
These Russian lads are already in jail. And being recruited on crimes that would not be accepted in the British or Irish army, indeed many armies.Either sign up or go to jail ~ He signed up.
Only maybe smart on the criminal one I'm afraid.Putin is one smart dude. Drain the west and the criminal pool at the same time.
Seen it reported and also refuted. No live appearance yet.Rumours are circulating that Putin has died.
No. They were recruited by a PMC. They signed contracts that stated if they broke the PMC's rules, death by firing squad was likely. These Russian lads are already in jail. And being recruited on crimes that would not be accepted in the British or Irish army, indeed many armies.
While Jerry copes by posting Twitter posts from shilling nobodies with Israeli flags in their Bios, I'll continue to deliver the facts, and the goods. Ukrainian captain telling it how it really is. Ukraine are not winning and running desperately low on troops. Morale is gone.

Extra credit bonus stage; the war chest is running dry.

So what's the Ukrainian regime doing while this is going on? Failing to destroy flags with drones. This is the actual unedited clip that Jerry (who deliberately misrepresents this conflict because his ego can't handle admitting he backed the wrong horse) posted yesterday. Ukraine literally cannot destroy a solitary flag on an undefended slag heap.

No, the Russian army copied the model.No. They were recruited by a PMC. They signed contracts that stated if they broke the PMC's rules, death by firing squad was likely.
No one is forcing them. They are given the option. They can always say no.![]()

The puppy has got this bone in its mouth and it thinks it's awful clever running around the garden with it. It would be cute if it were not so toxic. No one is forcing them. They are given the option. They can always say no.
I wonder why the Russian TGers did it then.Jarry all I see is a smoke stack , could be lads burning tyres for all I know .....posting disinformation like this hurts your side
You could be right.Word is going round that Russia has mounted a fresh attack on Avdiivka with Ukraine taking heavy losses.
Perhaps all Jarry's scutter about the grand victory of the Ukrainian army in this city should have been bookmarked.
Word is going round .....
They are tightening the noose pretty rapidly. Once they Capture Avdiivka shit gets real for the Ukies fast but they have a lot of de-mining to do, and AFU has fortified the city very strongly. It's their last heavily fortified bastion in the entire region. Will take as least as long as Bakhmut to clear totally IMO.Word is going round that Russia has mounted a fresh attack on Avdiivka with Ukraine taking heavy losses.

It's down to resources both men and materials. They are tightening the noose pretty rapidly. Russia will definitely take it, but it will be an expensive exercise both in terms of manpower and equipment. Ukies really, really don't want them to get it for a variety of reasons that aren't purely strategic. Morale is already very low with the troops, and the capture of the last Major city in the entire region would probably be a death-blow to troop motivation. It's down to resources both men and materials.
And the Ukraine have less and less of both!
