Lots of lives and kit lost. All that's going to be for naught very rapidly, and there's really not going to be any way the Ukrainian regime can downplay such a loss because they blew their horns for months about how significant a gain it was for the AFU. A functioning army would have new units ready to take the line and allow others to take some R&R. On top of that the mobiks have no end date to their deployment.
