Dimitri the Faggot has been resurrected.
WTF is it with these warmongering scumbag dogs and homosexuals?

I wonder if the faggot is pro-Israel, the invading force or pro-Palestine, the invaded land?
It would seem a tad hypocritical to be pro-Ukraine but anti-Palestine, no?

Russia thought they could take the town in 7 days.

When they couldn't, they should have withdrawn and looked for other weakpoints in the line. Thats basic military common sense. And Russian military doctrine.

However that was politically untenable so they continued for months in a way that resembled a WW1 strategy of taking a sliver of land at astonishing cost.

For months, they served up 10s of thousands of troops and hundreds of AFVs to UA artillery. Murz reckoned they inflicted 5 to 7 k UA casualties in return. And captured a small town.

It's a textbook pyrrhic victory and provided UA with a golden opportunity to destroy a Russian army corps.
1) This "small town" has been used by Ukrainians to shell Donetsk for nearly 10 years. Most of the civilian casualties in Donetsk are from shelling from Avdeeka.
2) It was the most heavily fortified place in the whole of Ukraine. Last 8 years Ukrainians poured thousands of tonnes of concrete into Avdeevka where bunkers with 3-5 meters thick walls and roof is the norm. No comparison between the Surovikin line with Dragon Tooth and the trenches. Effectively Avdeevka was the modern-day Maginot Line built with help from NATO advisers
3) Even if there are still places where Ukrainians can hit Donetsk all of them mostly on open field, Now Ukraine won't be able to use field artillery and hide it in specially built bunkers. Shelling from the open field will make it easy for the Russian army to counter and suppress artillery fire from UAF.
4) It was defended by the most motivated Nazi units. Most of the Ukrainian PoWs taken in Avdeevka were serving a few years. Not like in the summer counteroffensive where most of PoWs were conscripts sent ahead to clear the path for more motivated units.

Kept an eye on Democracy Now during the Dubya years so became quite familiar with them. More recently they've been taking outrageous Demovik positions - very Stickie-like - so a proper commie sect. Very similar to RTÉ really - closet Stalinist assholes.

One should remember that the CCP have instigated Maoist policies in Xinjiang, Tibet and Inner Mongolian. The Wuhan virus was also their invention (I initially thought that it was a ruse to apply police state measures in Hong Kong when it first came up - it corresponded with the protests there).

The great insult that Taiwan has made against the CCP is its successful example of a flourishing country with a living Chinese civilisational core. Development did not need to be imposed through desecration, death and dictatorship. This is what is intolerable about its existence to the Communist Regime.

DN is criticising America for supplying Taiwan with defensive weapons. There is no suggestion that long range cruise missiles or the like are being sent. There is no indication that the Chinese mainland is under any danger of being impinged so, effectively, DN is objecting to obstacles being put in the way of a PLA invasion of a free country. It's a disgraceful position.

Here's an interview between Mearsheimer and Piers Morgan that discusses the three geopolitical flashpoints. Morgan is outclassed here and resorts to a below the belt subterfuge to try and extricate himself from a sticky situation on Ukraine but tips the hat to the Professor in the end. Mearsheimer has had no decent competition - there are points that could be made to complicate his positions but, since I largely concur, I'll not stick an oar in and pull against.

To add a little spice to the post - at the moment the Israeli action in Gaza is not genocide, it is more legitimately described as ethnic cleansing. It can be described as genocide when famine sets in and thousand begin to die from hunger. That will be the moment it transitions into mass killing.

The removal of support from UNRWA in response to the decision from the ICJ exactly corresponds with the ethnic cleansing project, along with the further constriction of aid during the detailed destruction of habital structures in the strip. The big question is if, despite all the humanist pieties, anything will be done about it on the international stage.

The Israelis will not stop, they will have to be stopped if ethnically cleansing isn't to be tacitly accepted back into the political toolkit. Bibi is compromised and is surviving week to week - as soon as the war ends, all his illusions about himself will come crashing down and he is a vain man who will buck and buck to evade this. If the conflict needs to proliferate to secure his position then actions will be taken to do this.

Hamas committed a deranged atrocity on October the 7th, and is an anathema, but the response was not to deal with this crime, the response was to take the opportunity to remove the Palestinians from the Gaza strip. The Israeli regime aren't the good guys, and neither is Hamas. Both are rogue actors and hazardous to international peace.

I've an idea to help Ukraine interdict attack drones at a much reduced cost. Why don't they get cheap propeller driven light aircraft, like the AT-802U Sky Warden or whatever is suitable, and shoot them done. The drones are probably spotted on radar some ways out and aren't that fast or maneuverable. These would be used outside Russian SAM range. It would be a great way to get a few Aces under their belt. What do you think?

Looks like it works, although with Harrier jets in this case. Poso must read the site and passed on the idea.

Appears they're using Fox-2 infrared air to air missiles (sidewinders) which are a lot cheaper than ship air defense missiles.

'With seven drones falling victim to his Harrier’s precision, Captain Ehrhart’s name is etched among the ranks of those who guard the skies. While the traditional definition of an “ace” might be evolving in the drone age, his achievements speak volumes about his exceptional talent and courage.'

Lots to go through there.
DN is a pretty impartial news channel as they go.
And I'd rate its credibility.
I'd agree with you on it's lefty slant.
WRT Taiwan.
China isn't ever going to relinquish its desire to incorporate Taiwan.
The irony being US industry decamped to China with the blessing or connivance of the US government.
Thus enabling the CCP reach this position.
You're right on the Gaza situation.
The Israeli's knew that Hamas were planning this a let it go.
Netanyahu is a war criminal of historical proportion.
Doesn't care how many Arabs or Jews die.
And the Palestinians can all go wherever as far as the Israeli's are concerned.

I see that the Russians extradited a young white Russian man to the Islamic region of Chechnya for the burning of a Koran. This action took place NOT in Chechnya but in Volgograd. The son of the Islamic ruler Kadyrov kicked the shit out the teenager on camera and then sent him to prison for 3 years.

I suppose when our third world Asiatics ‘liberate‘ Ireland from the globalists, anybody who commits a ‘hate crime’ against Islam can be expected to be handed over by Putin to Umar Al Qudri for public lashing in Croke Park.

Hooray for the Third Worldists… they are so much better for the European people than the Jew Globalists.

still we can all take hope from progress in the Donbas.

Overnight, some of AFU's absolute creme de la creme were destroyed by standard Russian soldiers. 73rd marine spec ops to be specific. Millions of dollars involved in creating and gearing up these guys. Ukraine sent a crack squad via boat to try and create a bridgehead in Kherson at Kinburn spit. Every member of said squad was destroyed. Apologies for the graphic images. These were likely good men with families. Another pointless suicide mission and waste of life created by this debacle of a Ukrainian administration. It's exactly the same scenario that unfolded in Krinky, all over again--with the exception that this time it involved the best troops AFU has left. Ukraine has no plan. No strategy. It's simply about keeping up the appearance that they have those things and remaining forces viable enough to win the war.

Probably means that night vision technology is being more broadly dispersed amongst the Russians. This was one of the advantages that the Ukrainians had, given the lack of resources for equipping the average Russian soldier. Being able to target a machine gun onto a boat on the open water would kill everyone in it. It is the terrible reality of war.

No-one ever suggested that a Russian soldier was stupid, the observations were that they are poorly trained, led and equipped. This is especially the case for the surge of conscripts. This area has been severely contested for some time so soldiers on both sides have seen a considerable amount of time under combat - I recall a video of a Russian troop refusing to go forward onto an island in the river because they said their commander just wanted to get them killed and they were exhausted (Alas poor Kangal, I knew him well). This means they have had men out there for going on a year now.

That should create an operational halt for any further Ukrainian incursions for the time being. They'll need air support. Surprising that they aren't concentrating on Kursk-like operations now the Russians are on the front foot.

'Night-vision gear has proved to be a game-changer in warfare. It helps soldiers to operate at night when all of the rest of the world’s defenses are at 10% of what they are in the daytime.

Russian soldiers are equipped poorly when it comes to weapons, armor, and combat technology, and the average soldier does not get night-vision gear. Only a select few special forces and reconnaissance units get the gear.'

I find this odd, really.

I can right this very minute buy a set of thermal/night vision goggles with a solid IP rating for under 1K AUD$. It's the sort of tech that should be affordable.

For all that carnage there doesn't appear to much damage to the boat itself.

I was only speculating that they are using missiles rather than guns. The use of Harriers suggest that guns are an option. Missiles would be used to thin a large mob of drone with the remainder being shot down. These are V1s remember.

In any case, the Americans have a large inventory of sidewinders and a smaller inventory of ship air defense missiles which are more appropriate to anti-ship missiles.

In the age of 5th Gen fighters active radar missiles (or Fox-3s, Amrams) are mostly used with Fox-2s only used in extremis as engagements are long range and evasive manoeuvres against infrared tech are more effective. Of course I'm not a military aviation expert or anything.

Note the rapid reply when you saw that I was online. What sort of software are you using? How's the desk job treating you?

Even Newsweek is hedging its bets when it comes to Ukrainian claims -

"it purportedly eliminated more than 1,000 Russian troops from the battlefield."
C'mon man...That's just Comical Ali posting the Twatter links its owner tells it to post.😂
The Uki Nazis are screwed, end of story.
There will be peace talks before the summer.
