As far as I am concerned there are three different ideologies at play in the world today. The first is the ideology that believes 'progress' technological & ideological, similar to Communism but not as extreme, is a good thing & furthers this technological 'progress', destroying agricultural roots as it does this, slowly descending us in to Socialism from 'progressive' Capitalism. This is most prevalent in the United States of America, England & Israel but it is becoming more popular in Europe & South America. The Israelis used to be full-blown Communists until they took this lighter stance.

The second is the ideology that is trying to go back to the feudal roots of agriculture, similar to National Socialism but not as extreme. Essentially doing Capitalism but in a reactionary or at least conservative manner. This is most prevalent in China, Russia, Mongolia & North Korea, amongst others.

Finally there is the ideology that is even more extreme than this, almost the same as the National Socialism of Adolf Hitler & Heinrich Himmler. This is the case in countries like Syria & Iran but I foresee the Iranians becoming less extreme in the same way the Israelis did when technological 'progress' becomes more prevalent in Europe & South America.
