Along came four young foreign students. As best as I could ascertain they were two Germans and two Italians (two boys and two girls, one of each), they spoke very good English and I could understand clearly what they were saying to each other. But when they separated, the two Germans, who went to put stuff in a bin, and the two Italians started speaking in German and Italian to each other, respectively. When they united, all four of them, they started speaking English again among themselves
