It's a pity to be complaining & holding a grudge against foreign begging gypsies on the streets of town. Sure I have gladly contributed to beggars bowls in times past and did buy the roma's
big issue magazine a few times when they arrived first but had to stop after the push push push push push and further attemps - tantamount to subtle street harassment
afaic.
They are an easy target to point a finger at in regards to taking up public space and goodwill by loudly wearing out their welcome in an environment of scare Public Space and Resources? Then again they probably satisfy other elements in the town - Town which is also
vices central. Unfortunately Town
is a grift which is why they are still there

They are part of the global village. To a foreign tourist an African drives their cab, a Brazilian coins it dealing weed & Coke, E Europeans built & work the hotels, Roma work off the streets & knocking shops?
Admittedly I've got a skewed perspective here
