🇮🇪 HATE CRIME BILL WITH WOKE REDEFINITION OF GENDER IN IRELAND!🤯

🔥 That new bill will mean that for the first time in Irish history, there will be increased prison sentences for crimes which were found to have involved an element of hatred. 🤬

Justice Minister Helen McEntee, vindicateed that bill: “It is not acceptable that some people live in fear simply because of who they are.”

❗️Hi, you clown McEntee, don't you realise that precisely this is the case regarding the indigenous white population in their own country!

Is that accurate?

Looks like a lot of the lunatic fringe on the left voted no.
It's the list from the Oireachtas so it's accurate. SF voted no but they voted yes to a previous version of the bill, as far as I remember. The lunatic fringe are not against hate crime legislation, they are just doing their usual thing of voting against whatever the Government proposes.

I don't know what the changes are from the original bill, supposedly it's a watered down version that passed. Here's what McEntee said:
Amendments Nos. 1 to 5, inclusive, and 21 to 23, inclusive, remove references to incitement to violence or hatred from the Bill. This includes amendments to the Long Title and the Short Title, as provided for in section 1. The Short Title will become the "Criminal Justice (Hate Offences) Act 2024". Amendments Nos. 10 to 20, inclusive, 64 and 75 involve the deletion of sections 6 to 16, inclusive, which make up Part 2 of the Bill, and of references elsewhere to incitement to violence or hatred and to the EU framework decision on combating racism and xenophobia. The Prohibition of Incitement to Hatred Act 1989 will no longer be repeated, so section 4, which provides for that repeal, will be deleted through amendment No. 9.

Where does the act say anything about Minority status? It does say National or Ethnic Origin.

I don't know what the changes are from the original bill, supposedly it's a watered down version that passed. Here's what McEntee said:
The power of the Minister to name protected groups by statutory instrument is not in this act. Instead there is a list of
conditions affecting persons. It includes the chosen gender including trans gender and any other gender chosen.

It could be a claim by a person to have fallen in love with a telegram pole. In fact the onus is on a person charged to prove their words did not cause offence.

Surely if the greens advertise they have made laws to protect minorities, I am entitled to ask where or who the minorities are
mentioned in the act.
I said that they're saying the quiet part out loud

Hate crime is supposed to be about "protected characteristics"

So if someone's yelling - "Take that! You straight, white, Christian c*nt!".. That's supposed to be a hate crime. But we all know that it won't be

See there I'm stereotyping as well as attacking a minority as there's only a mere 80 thousand Cavan people.
Technically a minority, in some frame of reference :)

Don't think it would work in court tho

Also tight isn't a protected characteristic, you can be as selfish as you want

Technically speaking, being a bastard is something that is rapidly losing its minority status.

There are probably more people born out of wedlock in Ireland than there are people in Co Cavan.

Can anyone say what a gender is? from this in the act.

(d) “gender” means the gender of a person or the gender which a person expresses as the person’s preferred gender or with which the person identifies and includes transgender and a gender other than those of male and female,
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So, my reading of it is that there is male, female transgender any gender the person expresses a preferences for plus any gender other than male and female. So are there more genders than stars in the Milky way Gaxaxy?

Great as it is, it appears that Sen. Keoghan is only addressing the gender aspect of the hate legislation. What about all the other bits?
Here is a bit. You can be jailed to offending someone with sexual characteristics. It means:

(f) references to sex characteristics shall be construed as references to the physical and biological features of a person relating to sex,

There are two things there. the word sex at the very end: Does that mean sexual intercourse or sexual activity?

So are not all people born with sexual characteristics?
