Yep, your rampant idiocy, no idea what you are on about though.
Unfrickenbelievable

I said that the last time we (you and I) spoke about science, you were calling out da scientists about a confirmed interstellar object travelling through our solar system as being "bullshit". Does this really not make any sense or recall to you, on any planet Earth? You're away with the fairies, son. Put Moron #2 on

Sir, as Myles would say, you are a total pillock, but happy in that state obviously.

I'm not going to till over old ground but your comprehension is woefully inadequate.

How so, you nincompoop spammer?
My dear fellow, I am sitting in an airport waiting for a plane home having had a very intense couple of weeks doing reasonably useful stuff, it's called a job.

Have you done anything useful other than pick your nose, scratch your arse and generally polish your obnoxiousness?

It's intensely clear that what you perceive as "obnoxiousness" is a manifestation of your own insecurity, been saying it for ages, you're a textbook case

And rather than accept the fact that you're a dumbass (and try to improve yourself), you lash out. You, Moron #1 and Gowl have so much in common..

Boarding soon, happy days! Why don’t you run along and make a pretend plane from the pizza boxes you have stacked about the Kip and then you could have great craic acting the in-flight bog cleaner!

For @Hermit:

If space is bent and causes light to bend (P), we will observe a star near the sun during a solar eclipse (Q).
We observe a star near the sun during a solar eclipse (Q), therefore space is bent and causes light to bend (P).

View: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Qzm947lBqnE&t=22m10s

Do you get it now?!

I'm not asking you if you believe gravity exists (you don't because you're a goofball), I'm asking you if you understand the experiment?

From the video:

"His theory won't be accepted until he can demonstrate this radical concept. Suddenly, he is struck by an idea: If he can shine a beam of light through an area where space is curved, then according to his theory the beam of light will actually appear to bend."

"If he can shine a beam of light through an area where space is curved" - this is already assuming that space is curved (the conclusion, thing you're trying to prove, included in the premise), which is begging the question.

Light from star appears to bend during solar eclipse (Q), therefore space is curved (P).

Hermit what are you talking about?
We're talking about the claim that "space" i.e. an area without physical matter, is curved! It's total nonsense because a non-physical concept such as space cannot be curved.

I am also pointing out a logical fallacy in the claim that a solar eclipse proves that space is curved. The fallacy is like this:

If you drank a bottle of vodka, you would be drunk.
I observe that you are drunk, therefore you must have drank a bottle of vodka.

This is fallacious because of course you could have drank something other than vodka to get drunk.

I suppose that'll have to do

A solar eclipse does not prove that space is curved, good grief 🙄

Yeah, I know it doesn't, that's my whole point, but you and they are claiming that a solar eclipse does prove it.
Nope, it's only you saying that and you've finally reached MaF levels of incomprehension. And I was right about that all along, from the Moon thread to the UFO Hoax thread to here

The objects of interest were the Sun and the stars. The Sun curving spacetime (gravity) and the starlight from the distant stars proving it. Making Einstein a household name

...during a solar eclipse.
But it's like I first asked you:

Post in thread 'To The Moon' https://www.sarsfieldsvirtualpub.com/threads/to-the-moon.162/post-120133

Do you think that something different happens during a solar eclipse, something that isn't happening all the time?

The Sun is "bending" the starlight from distant stars positioned around it always, duh

Under normal conditions, Einstein’s prediction was impossible to test, for the simple reason that sunlight drowns out the light from nearby stars, making them invisible to observers on Earth. The darkness of an eclipse, though, would allow the astronomers to observe and photograph the field of stars around the Sun.

lol And?

You can't see the stars during the day, that's when the Sun's out, Hermit.. Except, during a solar eclipse

So are you saying a solar eclipse did prove space is curved? Or do you disagree with all those links I posted that say the eclipse did prove it?
Are you saying that, according to general relativity, space is only curved during a solar eclipse? I first asked you that question ages ago, I think it's about time that you answered it

@PlunkettsGhost offered this gem in the Moon thread shortly before:

Post in thread 'To The Moon' https://www.sarsfieldsvirtualpub.com/threads/to-the-moon.162/post-119731

Gravity (if operational) should always pull a solid through a liquid, as an outside, secondary force acting on these substances.

🤣🤣🤣😭

And this is of course sort of ridiculous because of the assumption that gravity isn't at play when of course it is, just like it is when a solid exerts an upward force on another solid (with fluids we call it buoyancy)
It's funny to look back on this thread and see the same old shit from the usual (anti-science) suspects
