An interesting development is that Dr Cora Stack, who you will see mentioned above as one of the candidates who tried to go through the Council route, a University lecturer in mathematics originally I think from West Kerry, applied to the High Court claiming that the way the party whip was used during that Council process stymied it and therefore was unconstitutional.

There are actually some reports circulating on social media that she was at least partially successful in this case, but that the full judgement won't be issued until October 23rd. So that might be interesting if true.

Meanwhile Captain Kieran Kelly, again he is the Waterford fisherman based in the States but with multinational interests in places like Indonesia, who has claimed to have a lot of negative information on Jim Gavin, is saying he has access to a former Garda server which he states he will reveal on Friday.
Interesting ~ Lets see how it all plays out !

Meanwhile it seems the Irish Independent is sharpening its axe on Heather Humphreys in the way it did Jim Gavin. It has quite a big story in the paper today about her been interviewed by the Garda Fraud squad in relation to a charitable foundation that its claimed she is/was a leading supporter of.

The Ditch says this is the Farney Foundation, who held a big do and awarded her a prize as Monaghan person of the year and is supposedly under investigation for mislaying about 50,000 euro. Apparently that was the prize to be given to a charity nominated by the winner of the award, her, but as I say, according to the Ditch, the Gardai are actively looking into what happened to the money.

Also being sued by the scummy little gender bending bastard Cueball Murphy.

She should pull out of the race and expose it for what it is.

Bocht can I ask you a question Sir?

You're an intelligent man. Why are you so invested in this meaningless farce?

Do you ever consider the blaggarding that has occurred and the damage caused to the political process.?
These characters have reduced it to a meaningless farce as you so rightly pointed out.

Indeed Sir. Which is why I'm asking why your fellow Mod is so interested in it.

I was at my daughter’s GAA match the other night and all the parents on the sideline were having heated debates about which of the two candidates to vote for.

Ireland has not moved on from the national shame of Covid as much as people think.

I know that for a fact. The amount of people wanting their covid/ flu/ rsv shots is truly grotesque. I cannot say anymore to them than that I do not and never have taken them but they give you that blank stare...not a thing learnt and no curiosity whatsoever...doesn't bode well.

Yes it is meaningless, in the sense that anyway elections in the Republic of Ireland in 2025 are decided by vote fraud. But still its interesting to speculate what they are really up to with this election, and, contrary to so many observers, I think the role of President is very powerful and influential and we could be stuck with this choice for another 14 years or so, so its important in that sense anyway.

Everywhere we look the radical left will not respect the democratic vote .
Germany is in a dangerous state and no less than 12 afd councillors have died in the past 2 months.
France is a basket case politically and economically.
Moldova cancelled the vote as did Romania --the entire EU have tried every stunt they could pull with orban.
its visible that its all linked to Soros and his death wish for the people of Europe.

Why did SF throw their lot in with a Banker's legal tool who evicts Irish families as her day job?

Two predictions, one of them will be declared the winner and they are unlikely to have much more than a dozen votes apiece.

It was a tough call deciding who to rank #1, but in the end, I gave it to Donald—MIGA! I put Maria Steen as my #2, though.

For the first time ever, they handed my voting card back and asked for ID—another first.

I peeked into the ballot box; it looked mostly empty. Turnout is going to be massively low, which probably means the leftist Catherine will win once all the lefties drag themselves out of bed to vote.

Most people in my circle aren't bothering—they feel democracy has let them down.

Honestly, I think Catherine will disappoint even the lefties. She just wants the fancy big house and the salary.

Of course the outcome was not in dispute on the day. Catherine Connolly was obviously the 'chosen one' in this election and backed to the hilt by a large number of parties. We will be led in this country by another Galway Communist for the next 7 or 14 years.

But the spoilt vote and low turnout figures are the talk of the election, e.g.

Not sure that the mainstream media will be doing much talking though, it will be brushed under the carpet while the clarion cry of all hail Queen Connolly rings forth over the blessed land.

No mention of the very low turn out.
A landslide with maybe 15% of those eligible to vote is the narrative.

They can talk it, but the number of those listening is declining, not that it will make much difference unfortunately.
Heard a bit of O.Connor with the wino Mary Coghlan just now,.then Gary Murphy and they are sticking to the narrative, landslide victory, what now for FG etc etc. Zero mention of the massive amount of spoiled votes, that's what €700m buys you

There's a word that describes the whole indifference to the political biosphere and its blatant shape throwing.
Ennui.
Listlessness and dissatisfaction resulting from lack of interest; boredom.

Not a word I had thought to use before.

From the last True Gael
Nails the media gobshytes to perfection

"I notice one common factor in all the mainstream coverage of the huge spoiled vote result as the talking heads wrestle with explaining it to their audience.

Conspicuously absent from their lips is their usual go-to label: "far-right.".

All Labour leader Ivana Bacik could offer was that she was concerned about it being 'orchestrated'.

While Anton savage on Newstalk, playing dumbstruck, regretted it was impossible to decipher what the spoiled vote meant as everyone had scrawled different messages on their ballots. 😂"

As you can read above, some people identified Catherine Connolly as the Occult candidate in this election quite a while ago. If so she makes a poor job of hiding it with her gig in Vicar St hosting the Mary Wallopers refering to the Catholic Church as 'cunts' and these perforners, Huartan:

It's funny how RTÉ is doing its very best to ignore the spoilt votes—they're currently at about 14%, but if you throw Gavin into the mix, spoilt votes are over 20%.

I fail to understand why they are counting Gavin's votes as legitimate. He pulled out, so a vote for Gavin was a spoilt vote.
