Maria Steen has got the four Independent Ireland votes, so needs about two more Oireachtas nominations, before the deadline tomorrow, to be added to the ballot.

It all has to be a last minute drama.
What time of day is the deadline tomorrow?

They say noon but it is also said that you need an appointment to lodge the nomination papers, so actually the real time might need to be earlier.

I know this because I listened to Maria Steen describe it all on the Six One News on RTE1, where she seems to always get wall to wall coverage.

I know I have said it before but for me honest people do not get that kind of coverage in modern Communist Ireland, so you have to write me down as suspicious sceptic here!

It fairness she probably is only a small pressure release valve, but that is all we have at the moment anyway !
