You don't finance that kind of lifestyle (*) on owning a s.hit pub in Drimnagh. If I were McGregor I'd be getting myself into rehab sharpish. If he's rich as he puts himself forward as he can afford a nice vacation stay in the Gods or St Pats'. I've seen this movie before and it doesn't usually end well unless the addict admits they have a problem. There's no shame in admitting one has a problem with drink or drugs, those substances have slayed bigger beasts than McGregor.

In my misspent youth I occasionally - and I mean very occasionally - found myself in certain, ehm, dens of low repute, i.e. lap-dancing clubs. Checking my bank balance in the morning I found that a crime of financial rape had been committed, with muggins here being the victim. Technically, it wasn't a crime, given that I consented to part with a not insignificant sum in reward for...not very much...but given that I was under the influence, one can argue that I did not in fact freely consent. Oddly enough, I never found a lawyer who would take my case!

But of course that doesn't fit the popular narrative that the male is always to blame and the female is always the holy saintly victim.

The Circus that is Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua hits town this weekend. I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

Paul's "fight" against a near 60 year old man (Tyson) was a farce. Neither of them laid a glove on one another.

If this is some sort of exhibition again then whoever pays to see this needs all of their money taken.

If on the other hand its real then it shouldn't go past 10 or 20 seconds and Paul could get killed.

It's not going to be a real fight !

It will be like that dance that McGregor did with May-weather / Jake Paul did with Mike Tyson.

McGregor would be extremely lucky to last 30 seconds against May-weather and that would only be if McGregor ran away for the 30 seconds.

Good luck to these fellas making money, off anyone thinking this is in any way real !

Perhaps. However a rigged boxing match is harder to pull off than an obviously choreographed wrestling match. They will be hitting each other for real.

Netflix have had 4 big boxing events in the past year. There’s talk of then aiming for 10 or more which would position them unexpectedly as the ‘home of boxing’.

If he does kill him or he ends up a vegetable that's legalised slaughter. The boxing commission could be charged for authorising it.

But when Joshua decides enough of the pantomime and decides to knock him out he'll probably pull his punches so as not to hurt Jake.

It was a farcical fight and it wasn’t rigged the old WWF way. AJ held back when he could have knocked him out in round one.

Paul got his jaw broken in 2 places. It was a handy payday for AJ.
