Who in their right mind would trust Zelensky with a nuclear arsenal? Nobody, but that is what he is after, or more likely the neocons are wanting to have nuclear bombs in an unstable country so that there is a better chance of having them dropped on Russia. I should think Putin would take out the bases where they are to be stored long before they arrive anyway.

MOSCOW, June 1. /TASS/. A petition calling for drafting a bill to provide Kiev with access to NATO’s arsenal of tactical nuclear weapons within five years was posted on Thursday to the official website of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.

According to the petition, it would be advisable for the Ukrainian head of state to "instruct the Ukrainian cabinet of ministers to draft a bill on providing Ukraine with access to tactical nuclear weapons under the framework of [Kiev’s] cooperation with NATO within the next five years."

At the same time, the journalists themselves discovered channels on Telegram of Ukrainians offering to create fake ads on the darknet for arms sales. As Friekorps suggests, these are rival groups involved in the sale of military aid.

❗️🇷🇺🇺🇦 Highlights of Russian Military Operation in Ukraine on June 2

▪️Russian troops carry on launching massive missile strikes on the military facilities in Kyiv.

Another attack targeted enemy air defenses covering key military facilities located in the Ukrainian capital.

▪️Ukrainian drones attacked oil and gas infrastructure in Smolensk region.

One of the administrative buildings sustained minor damage. No injured among civilians.

▪️Another Ukrainian UAV attack was prevented by Russian air defense in Kursk.

Eight strike drones were shot down over the city. Three residential buildings sustained minor damage.

▪️The situation is deteriorating in the Bryansk region, where the AFU have substantially increased the intensity of the artillery shelling.

Houses and household outbuildings were damaged by shells in several populated areas located near the border.

This is a classic example of interpreting facts to suit ones idealogy or prejudices.

We can either say that the ruthless b'stard Putin sent criminals to the front to be executed and so emptied his jails, or we can note that Prigozhin himself spent time in jail when young and he is giving others an opportunity to redeem themselves.

It was only petty criminals which were given the chance to join up, those who had committed serious crimes had to stay in jail. One would have thought that if Putin was really serious about clearing the prison system of rapists and murderers then they would have been the first to be shoved out to the front.

This is nothing new, the British Army used to, and probably still do, recruit from borstals/youth correction centres, or whatever they are called nowdays.

It's not like Europe wasn't given ample opportunities. This will hasten the exit of a number of countries I imagine.

Putin has to send massive attacks of drones and missiles to try overwhelm the Kyiv defences. But the AFU only have to send a dozen or so drones and still find success. :unsure:
