Professor Luke O’Neill has shared his belief that counties shouldn’t have been so quick to suspend AstraZeneca vaccinations.  .  .  .
  .  .  .  There were concerns following reports of blood clots in those who had received the vaccine.  .   .

Professor O’Neill was then quizzed on people’s hesitancy following news of this link of blood clots.
‘That was a huge reason not to do this [suspend AstraZeneca vaccines] because of previous sitations,’ he responded.
‘We know, for example, the HPV vaccine was stalled in Japan. When they reintroduced it, nobody would take it.’
Professor O’Neill quoted a survey in which 38% of people 




are now ‘anxious about this vaccine, so that’s the downside’.
