Trump made Nazi ‘ovens’ joke in front of Jewish executives

A former employee of Donald Trump’s pre-presidency organization has publicly claimed that he once made jokes about Nazi “ovens” while Jewish executives were in the same room.

Barbara Res – a lead engineer on the construction of Trump Tower and author of a memoir, Tower of Lies, about her almost two decades working for the former president – told MSNBC on Sunday that her erstwhile boss would make “ridiculous remarks”.

“We had just hired a residential manager, a German guy,” Res said. “And Donald [Trump] was bragging among – to us executives, there were four of us – about how great the guy was and he was a real gentleman, and he was so neat and clean. And he looked at a couple of our executives who happen to be Jewish, and he said, ‘Watch out for this guy – he sort of remembers the ovens,’ you know, and then smiled.

“Everybody was shocked,” she continued. “I couldn’t believe he said that. But he was making a joke about the Nazi ovens and killing people, and that’s the way he was.”

Trump Ignores Criticism, Doubles Down On Medal Of Honor Gaffe

Despite massive criticism from all corners, Donald Trump is doubling down on his recent ― and controversial ― comment that a Presidential Medal of Freedom award is better than the Congressional Medal of Honor.

During a campaign event on Thursday, the former president told the crowd that the Medal of Freedom, the nation’s highest civilian honor, was “much better” than the Medal of Honor, the nation’s highest military decoration.

His shocking rationale was that soldiers who receive the latter are “either in very bad shape because they’ve been hit so many times by bullets, or they’re dead.”

Authoritarianism Expert Spots New Donald Trump Boast That ‘Sends A Chill Down My Spine’

Authoritarianism expert Ruth Ben-Ghiat on Sunday summed up former President Donald Trump’s latest brag as “fascist talk.”

Trump, the Republican nominee, who has repeatedly boasted about his role in overturning Roe v. Wade that ended the constitutional right to abortion, this weekend declared at a campaign rally and also on his Truth Social platform that if he wins the 2024 election, “Women will be happy, healthy, confident and free. You will no longer be thinking about abortion, because it is now where it always had to be, with the states, and with the vote of the people.”

Ben-Ghiat, appearing on MSNBC’s “The Weekend” show, responded, “It sends a chill down my spine when Donald Trump says women won’t have to think about abortion anymore because he also said something similar about voting when he talked to a group of evangelicals.”

“He said, ‘After this election, you will not have to vote anymore,’ as if voting is a kind of burden,” continued the history professor at New York University. “And so this is fascist talk, where the fascist leader says, ‘I will free you from all decision-making. Just trust in me and you will not have to worry about any problems anymore.’”

Trump accused of ‘inciting violence’ after posting image of Biden tied up in a truck

Mr Biden’s campaign quickly condemned the video for suggesting harm to the president.

“This image from Donald Trump is the type of crap you post when you’re calling for a bloodbath or when you tell the Proud Boys to ‘stand back and stand by,’” said Michael Tyler, the Biden campaign’s communications director, referring to the Right-wing group involved in the 2021 attack on the Capitol.

He added: “Trump is regularly inciting political violence and it’s time people take him seriously – just ask the Capitol police officers who were attacked protecting our democracy on January 6.”

Voter fraud will be common in some states. I would think 3% for Harris in about 5 states where officials will allow it.

Does anyone know if there is a register of electors like Ireland and the UK?

Donald Trump Goes to Detroit and Insults the Entire City

Donald Trump on Thursday addressed business leaders in Detroit, where he insulted their city and big companies.

“You want to know the truth?” Trump told members of the Detroit Economic Club as he painted a picture of what his opponent would do to America.

“It’ll be like Detroit. Our whole country will end up being like Detroit if she’s your president. You’re going to have a mess on your hands.”

He's right.

Detroit is a fucking wasteland, and nobody from Detroit would argue differently. There are parts of Detroit that are so bad, delivery drivers that have to pass through them will only stop at red lights if they absolutely have to.
