Theres something very unnerving about that photo. Not just the fact that we know what followed, but the image - the setting, the sparklers, the helmet - like something out of a horror movie.

Judge Martin Nolan said it was obviously a very serious crime but it seemed that Christopher O’Neill did not intend to kill Martin Lynn and he would try to impose a just and proportionate sentence.

Six years for unprovoked murder, no apology and winking and smiling in court. We should get the Dail to vote Martin Nolan out of a job. He is a disgrace to the judiciary.

Martin Nolan again.
Not fit to be a judge and probably has a lot to hide himself.
His record of lenient sentences for sex offenders is as disgusting as it is revealing.
