Didn't John Wayne swerve serving in the US military during the Second World War ? !

That turned out to be a Big Mistake on his behalf ~ ~ I assume he did it, to keep making money during the War as surely the US Military would have found a relatively safe number for him, if he did sign up ~ ~ That has really tarnished John Wayne's reputation for a good number of People in America / and other places !
 
How quickly I am forgotten!

Maybe it's good nobody remembers me, or perhaps it's quite sad. Declan knows who I am, anyhow!
