Legal stuff takes ages to sort out and there is probably no news for Barrett to report. He is now more focused on developing Clann Eireann, but I do not believe he will give up on regaining control of the NP - not a chance he will let that slide.

The new NP probably blew a good chunk of its finances on those elections, but it is still earning income from memberships and donations. I don't know what happened to that gold in the end - did it get returned to the NP, are there criminal proceedings going on...most of it (a few hundred thousand Euro) belonged to Reynolds though.
