I never heard of the Nez Perce tribe til this trip
There is a place called Gillette Wyoming, I tipped a bar maid $5 she stuck it up with a thumb tack on the ceiling after I wrote my name with a felt tip on it. The Little Big Horn at Harding is good too.
Famous battle

I think myself and Val should do a tribal month in the West and document it. To recreate the Lewis and Clark Trek but in a Ford. The VDE.

Correct, the second smartest and the second fittest together are unbeatable.

But to make it more historically accurate, we shall take two Sagacawea with us, maybe twenty years old. It will be tough but we will go easy on them.

I am a secret lover of the native Americans. I wanted to visit them from I was 9 years old. They were totally wild when L & C arrived. Their adventures are on line. They (L & C) impressed the natives with an air rifle. They used to say Clarke was from Bailieboro.,

They could not understand why I was interested in them. My sister could not understand it either.

There are Pow Wows on this time of year. In North and South Dakota. Dan should drop in.
No fancy dress display matches them. One said to me , We noticed you two strangers stood to attention for our Grand Entry flag song (Anthem) . I replied it was to respect their survival through European oppression and I was sorry for the part the Irish played in that.
The keeper of the sacred bundle at that time was Avril Looking Horse. He lived in Dewey.

Ya should have saved it when you made it, but I forgot you are a Democrat.
You have the credit union stuffed with wads of cash you should talk to me about investments since you refused to sell me a site last year (25 grand I believe I offered) :sneaky:

Some gink rang me this time yesterday wanting me to invest in A.I. I think he was from London.

I told him I got my A.I. from Progressive Genetics for my cows. he laughed.

These are all from Tuesday August 13 2024 .

we went to the top of Marys Peak and then about 20 miles over to the Pacific where we have a fish dinner at a famous spot before seeing The Devils Punchbowl etc at sundown. It was a great day.

i would arrest you based on that video -- lovely straight stretch -doing 150 now and freeze frame the speedo at the end == 33 mph and 25mph .
is it an entire forest of magic mush by the side of the road by any chance .
some people drink a can of beer at high altitude and go completely ga ga .
thanks for the videos i love to see America from a non commercial view --i would need a couple of months to see the basics.

This was our trip to Ape Cave in Washington State. We did both caves so it was well over 3 hours.

A person who is not in pretty decent shape can not do the Upper Cave , simple as that. And I was tested. The hardest part is getting up the 8 feet vertical rock because despite how it looks, it is impossible to get your foot in the rope, and the loops are actually for a hand grip.

if it were not for the fact that going back is so difficult, many would give up altogether. After that rock it is maybe a half mile more with 2 or 3 tight spots.

these tunnels were formed just 2000 years ago. I was covered in sweat at the end and you hike almost 2 miles down to your car.

my son loves rock formations and hiking etc so I sacrificed a trip to the Lewis and Clark trail end museum etc near Seattle . I had meant to do The Space Needle but we never got to Seattle

Being the 2nd smartest man in Ireland, Val would not have attempted the Upper Cave in the 2000 years it has existed.

there are plenty of videos to come
