A niece of mine is involved in the GAA and she told me that the girls have the shorts pulled up to almost indecent levels ~ ~ And of course nobody could say anything to them ( especially a man )

I can't see how any man ( maybe even Women these days ) would take the chance of being involved in training, women / girls / even boys / young men ~ ~ One false accusation would do some damage to your reputation on the locality ~ ~ It's a big risk to take ~ ~ One nutter or even worse two nutters get together, and you would be in some pile of shite / trouble.

I am surprised that the GAA ( even other organisations ) can get people to volunteer to do this these days ~ ~ I suppose some people get involved when their kids are of those ages but get out as soon as their kids have moved up to the adult ages !

Despite a dreadful season to date for both of them, remarkably both United and Spurs have a chance to save it all by winning a final.

The Europa Cup and Champions League Qualification await the winners.

Police considering Gary Lineker investigation over anti-Semitic Instagram post

Gary Lineker could face a police investigation over the anti-Semitic Instagram post that prompted his BBC exit, Telegraph Sport understands.

Officers from Scotland Yard visited at least one complainant who told them she suffered significant distress over the social media post last week.

No decision has been made yet on whether a police investigation will be launched but officers suggested to one family a crime reference number will be issued.

A Metropolitan Police statement said: “We have received a number of reports from members of the public relating to a post published on social media on Monday, 12 May. The reports will be assessed to determine what further action might be required. There is currently no police investigation into this matter.”

Lineker should have been arrested for being an, Annoying Gob-Shite, years ago !

In fairness Lineker is a bit ( well a lot ) of an idiot who has been baby-sat all his life since he looked like becoming a very good soccer player !

If he had a brain he could have done pretty much the same thing ( smarter tweet ) but ~ ~ If you take your eye of an idiot for a minute, then they always go back to being an idiot, as soon as you take your eye off them !

Did anyone watch the pre-match analysis on RTE before the Ireland Hungary match? Listening to that obnoxious egg Sadlier, Hamann, Whelan and the presenters, you'd swear Ireland were Brazil and Hungary some useless minnows. I've never seen an Irish panel so confident - based on absolutely nothing. I was saying to my other half that they were being completely delusional, and that Hungary aren't as bad as they're making out.

Sure enough Hungary are two up after 20 minutes and Ireland look absolutely useless, not even a shot on target.
