Is anybody following this chap Alan Sweeney who was today supposed to complete his 1050km from Galway to Brussels.
There is something amiss and we await details.

Rumors are he was robbed. Also that he was to meet Hermann Kelly of The Irish Freedoom Party. Some say he is safe. Some say otherwise. But he is not posting on Facebook like you would expect from the finish line.

They are using the usual snide attacks. The EU pays a untold amount of internet tools for this purpose.

Seems like its a particular trait amongst Galway lads. Yer man Loughnane abused over a dozen in People before Profit.

Alan Sweeney has returned safely after his walk so we await details of what happened.

Hevis to answer all question on a live stream today. But the basics are that with just 14km to go he slept outside overnight and when he awake his backpack and phone and passport were stolen.

He believes this was planned to prevent him recording a successful completion of his trek.

He did a livestream a while ago and facebook blocked it. It was a shame because he answered everyones questions and it was mighty craic towards the end. We were slagging him off about getting himself a girlfriend and he was mortified. It was gas. You had to be there. Lol.
Now no one else will see it cos it was blocked.
They dont want the truth about Alan getting out it seems.

I reckon Alan has been made to consider his safety if he is to repeat a high profile walk. Especially if he believes this not to have been a random robbery.
