A while back I had the misfortune to happen across one of Ireland's 'leading climatologists' who droned on about the science now being settled and the computer models are right etc etc.

FFS, the lad is just a jumped up geography teacher who wouldn't know one end of a big sum from the other and is in no way qualified to pass judgement on the accuracy of sets of vastly complicated algorithms that can be tweaked to show whatever result is desired.

He's often on the telly as the go to expert, but he is utterly clueless.
