Czech-made Vampire destroyed in Ukraine – MOD (VIDEO)

The Western-supplied rocket system was discovered in Sumy Region and was taken out using a high-precision projectile, the ministry said

Russia’s Defense Ministry shared a video on Tuesday purporting to show the destruction of a Czech-made Vampire Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) used by Ukrainian forces near the Russian border.
According to the ministry, the Western-built MLRS was discovered moving and firing on Russian positions by servicemen of the ‘North’ group of forces during reconnaissance activities in Sumy Region. This is the region from which Ukraine launched its major Kursk incursion into Russia last month.
After analyzing the intelligence, Russian command made the decision to destroy the enemy combat vehicle using a high-precision Krasnopol projectile, the ministry reported, noting that the crew of the Vampire was killed in the strike.

In the half-minute long aerial footage shared by the ministry, what is described as the Vampire MLRS can be seen firing multiple rockets before being destroyed sometime later with what appears to be a single strike.

Ukraine’s Kursk gambit failed – Putin

According to the Russian Defense Ministry’s daily update on Tuesday, over the past 24 hours, Kiev’s forces reportedly lost up to 400 servicemen and 12 armored combat vehicles, as well as three pieces of artillery, one MLRS, one anti-aircraft missile and gun system, an electronic warfare station, and 12 automobiles.
The ministry also provided an update on Ukrainian casualties since the start of its Kursk incursion. According to the latest estimates, Ukrainian forces have lost more than 9,300 troops, 80 tanks, and hundreds of other vehicles and heavy pieces of equipment since the operation began.
On August 6, Kiev deployed thousands of troops to the Russian border region with the stated goal of creating a “buffer zone” on Russian soil. However, despite making some initial gains, Ukraine’s advance has since been stopped, according to Moscow, while the Ukrainian military has continued to suffer heavy casualties.

EU ‘regrets’ Mongolian refusal to arrest Putin

Ulaanbaatar “did not comply with its obligations” by failing to execute an ICC warrant, Brussels has stated

The European Union has “taken note” of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s visit to Mongolia and expressed regret that the government in Ulaanbaatar did not detain its guest.
Putin spent two days in Mongolia, engaging in bilateral talks and marking the 85th anniversary of the WWII victory over Imperial Japan at the Battle of Khalkhin Gol.
“President Putin is under an arrest warrant by the ICC for international crimes, specifically alleged crimes of unlawful deportation and unlawful transfer of children,” the EU said in a statement on Tuesday.
The EU regrets that Mongolia, a State Party to the Rome Statute of the ICC, did not comply with its obligations under the statute to execute the arrest warrant,” the bloc added.
The ICC issued a warrant for Putin’s arrest in March 2023, despite having no jurisdiction over Russia. Moscow has rejected the court’s accusations as baseless.

The Russian president traveled to Mongolia at the invitation of his counterpart, Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, and met with top officials in Ulaanbaatar to discuss the two countries’ strategic partnership.
Both Ukraine and the ICC demanded Putin’s arrest from Mongolia, but the Kremlin said it had “no concerns,” as all issues had been worked out with Ulaanbaatar in advance.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, who accompanied Putin to Mongolia, said it is natural for people with “Nazi-like deeds” to worry about two neighbors who fought side by side in WWII.
I pity them if they are concerned about this,” Lavrov told journalist Pavel Zarubin on Tuesday.

Russian Iskander ballistic missiles have struck the Signal Corps Academy in Poltava, according to the government in Kiev, which put the death toll at 50.
The School of Military Communications and Information Technology on the north side of Poltava was home to the 179th Training Center of Ukrainian signalmen, including radar and strike drone operators. It was destroyed by two missiles on Tuesday morning, the local authorities said.
The Ukrainian Defense Ministry has put the number of deaths at 49, with 219 injured. Rescue crews managed to save 25 people, of which 11 were pulled from the rubble, the military said.

In the West, there are both excellent right-wing and very respectable left-wing figures. For instance, the AfD (Alternative for Germany) is a remarkable right-wing movement, and Sahra Wagenknecht is an outstanding leftist. In the United States, there are right-wing figures like Trump and Vance, but also leftists like Tulsi Gabbard and Kennedy. This pattern exists everywhere.

However, there are also globalists — like Mélenchon, who, in a critical moment, saved liberal Macron from the people’s uprising led by Marine Le Pen. Additionally, there are European far-right individuals who join forces with Nazis from the Azov battalion to fight against us. These far-right individuals conveniently ignore the fact that Zelensky is a Jewish liberal clown, a drug addict, and a pervert. How can these people be considered right-wing? They are merely service dogs on the liberal NATO leash.

This situation is mirrored in our own country. We have honest right-wing patriots, Orthodox Christians, monarchists, and even (God forgive them, they do not understand what they are calling themselves) “ethnic Russian nationalists” — who, in truth, are holding the front lines. Equally, there are honest left-wing patriots who are heroes of the Special Military Operation. But then, there is also the scum that attacks Putin from the right and Ilyin* from the left. It is the same story everywhere.

Thus, both the right and the left can have reasonable, honorable people, but they can also have those who are not. However…

When it comes to liberals, it is a different story. There are no good liberals. All liberals are aligned with the world government and Western hegemony. Anyone on their side is an absolute enemy of both true right-wing and true left-wing people. This is because capitalism is pure evil and must be destroyed from both the right and the left, simultaneously.

It is liberals — people like Soros — who manipulate unaware “right-wingers” and corrupt, decaying “left-wingers” to serve their own interests.

We need a union of the right and the left against the liberals. This is what we need, both within Russia and beyond.

True right-wing and left-wing figures represent the people. Liberals, on the other hand, represent the comprador elite. There are no good liberals. A good liberal is one who is absent or, at the very least, a former liberal. There is no use trying to argue that not all liberals are the same — they are. The right and the left can be different. But all liberals are united.

(translated from the Russian)

* Translator’s note: Ilyin refers to Ivan Ilyin (1883-1954), a Russian philosopher, monarchist, political theorist, and prominent figure in the Russian émigré community after the Bolshevik Revolution. He is best known for his conservative views and his advocacy for a Russian authoritarian state based on Orthodox Christian principles.

The goons running Ukraine have no mandate from the people.
Zitler is now a de facto dictator.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba may soon be joining four of his cabinet colleagues who were ousted by Vladimir Zelensky, according to a Kiev newspaper.
Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Olga Stefanishina, Minister for Strategic Industries Aleksandr Kamyshin, Minister of Justice Denis Maliuski, and Minister of Environmental Protection Ruslan Strilets were all relieved of their posts on Tuesday.
“There are preparations to fire Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba,”Ukrainskaya Pravda reported on Tuesday evening, citing a source in Zelensky’s office.
According to the outlet, his most likely replacement will be Andrey Sibiga, a former ambassador whom the Ukrainian media described as both Zelensky’s deputy chief of staff and Kuleba’s own deputy.
Prime Minister Denis Shmigal will reportedly keep his job, Ukrainskaya Pravda claimed.
The cabinet purge comes after the official expiration of both Zelensky’s presidential mandate and that of the Ukrainian parliament. The Ukrainian constitution provides only for the extension of parliamentary terms, but Zelensky has argued the martial law announced in February 2022 allows him to postpone all elections indefinitely.

Meanwhile, some sources in Kiev have told Western outlets that Zelensky’s chief of staff, movie producer Andrey Yermak, de facto runs the country. Zelensky’s office has denied this.
Rumors of Kuleba’s impending ouster have swirled since March, following the resignation of Foreign Ministry spokesman Oleg Nikolenko, one of his proteges. The outlet Strana reported that Zelensky was acutely displeased with the diplomatic service, and was considering replacing Kuleba with his foreign policy adviser Igor Zhovkva.
Nothing came of that rumor, however, and Kuleba continued browbeating the West into giving Kiev more weapons, ammunition and cash to fight against Russia.
“If decisions are taken, Ukraine is successful on the ground. If they are not taken, then do not complain about Ukraine, complain about yourself,” Kuleba told EU foreign ministers last week, demanding “bold decisions” from the bloc. Kiev has been blaming restrictions on the use of weapons provided by the US and its allies for its deteriorating frontline fortunes.
After Brussels, Kuleba went to Poland, where he managed to offend his hosts – and a key country for supplying Ukraine with Western aid – by calling certain Polish territories “Ukrainian lands”and suggesting that the displacement of ethnic Ukrainians from Poland’s territory in 1947 was equivalent to the massacres of Poles by Ukrainian nationalists that Warsaw has described as genocidal.

Things looking up for Zelensky = = Irish Gimp arrives to save the Day ! ! !

The headline should read "Two globalist gimps meet to take more orders from Washington"

Embarrassing.

"In Hostomel, which was also severely damaged in the early stages of the conflict, Mr Harris was able to see the benefits of Irish funding to the region when he visited a pre-fabricated building that is hosting a family forced to leave their home due to the war."

Trump accuses Ukraine of lying about death toll

The former US president has blamed the conflict on the Biden administration and renewed his pledge to bring peace if reelected

US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has accused Ukraine of intentionally covering up the true number of deaths in the conflict with Russia. In an interview on the Lex Fridman podcast published on Tuesday, Trump claimed that “the death numbers are going to be a lot higher than people think” when the time comes to “iron out” the casualties.
Ukraine rarely publishes reports on the official civilian death toll, and the numbers are difficult to assess as no independent count has been made due to lack of access to the front line. The latest figures released in June last year put the number of civilian deaths at around 10,000 – however, Oleg Gavrych, a top aide to Vladimir Zelensky’s chief of staff, said at the time that the true figure could be five times higher.
Information about troop losses has also been hard to confirm, with Zelensky claiming earlier this year that it stood at around 31,000, while both Russian and foreign estimates indicate that it could be much higher.
“They lie about the numbers,”Trump claimed in the podcast. He did not explain why he believes Kiev is doing so, though it is considered standard practice for countries to overestimate enemy losses and underestimate their own during wars.
Ukrainian military blames Zelensky for battlefield setbacks – FT READ MORE: Ukrainian military blames Zelensky for battlefield setbacks – FT
“They try and keep [the numbers] low. They knock down a building that’s two blocks long, and they say one person was mildly injured. No, no, a lot of people were killed… millions of people,” Trump said.
The Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights has put the number of civilian deaths, or non-armed individuals, in Ukraine from the start of the conflict in February 2022 to July 31, 2024 at 11,520. The agency noted that the real numbers could be higher. Anonymous US officials told the New York Times last month that the number of Ukrainian soldiers killed throughout the conflict is 70,000.
In the podcast, Trump said the conflict with Russia is “a war that shouldn’t have happened.” He accused the administration of US President Joe Biden of failing to prevent it and said the situation is now so out of hand that a peace agreement “is a much tougher deal to make than it would’ve been before it started.”

Yeah but, The ex-comedian/actor who's been put in charge keeps asking for it, ffs

That's why there's reciprocal action which hurts Ukrainians.

Zitler(the role) keeps escalating. Now if he was to de-escalate then the above tragedies would be reduced.

And your hope of executions may bring on more violence toward Ukrainians in return - Is that what you really want - Haven't they been punished enough already?

From Twitter.
But the speculation is pretty hard to dismiss as nonsense.
Russia has obviously inflicted some pain and damage, but I'd be surprised if the whole Saab management team was wiped out as I am sure there would be company protocols prohibiting such a gathering in a war zone.

However, if 600 NATO personnel were killed then we might hope that some sense starts to prevail at the European end of the organisation, but it's only a hope for the US will twist the arms harder still.

The actions by the Department of the Treasury in levying new sanctions against RT, Sputnik, and other Russian media organizations has made it impossible for me to continue my work as an outside contributor for RT and Sputnik, as well as participating in interviews and other collaborations with other Russian media.
The language in question is quite clear about the scope and scale of its restrictions:

“In addition, financial institutions and other persons that engage in certain transactions or activities with the sanctioned persons may expose themselves to sanctions or be subject to an enforcement action. The prohibitions include the making of any contribution or provision of funds, goods, or services by, to, or for the benefit of any designated person, or the receipt of any contribution or provision of funds, goods, or services from any such person.”

I reject the notion that the work I have done over the past years with the newly sanctioned Russian media organizations has been anything other than legitimate journalism, the content of which has been factually correct and analytically sound, and always of my own creation.

Nonetheless, I am fully committed to obeying US law, and as such will be terminating all contractual relationships with both RT and Sputnik effective immediately, as well as suspending my participation in any and all media interaction with sanctioned individuals and organizations until which time it is deemed lawful to do so by US authorities.

I will continue to exercise my free speech rights, to include my ability to function as a journalist free from government influence or control.

I am deeply grateful for the professionalism of all of my Russian colleagues over the past several years, and am proud to have made their acquaintance. I regret the actions of my government in silencing legitimate journalistic outlets, and look forward to the day when freedom of speech and a free press is not constrained by a dubious “Russian exception” that is violative of Constitutional norms and values.

I think it's 50 killed and the rest of the 600 or so injured.

Still a brutal result! Not sure how many were Swedes but no wonder the Swedish foreign minister resigned!
