Fun Fact:

Did you know that when Myles was a lad, in order to placate him, his Granny used to give him her holy statues to play with?

Remember it well. I used them as the A-Team. St Anthony was Hannibal, Joseph was Face, St Michael was Murdoch and there was a black lad (St Martin???) who I used as B A Baracus.

Mary was Jane.

(I think I used the child of Prague as a baddie although I can't be sure.)

That's back when kids had to use their imagination. Nowadays they're glued to gadgets and are like zombies.

Well you could say that all major Religions contain aspects of Truth and Goodness in them otherwise they could not have mass appeal over spans of time and that all Truth and Goodness ultimately come from God and lead back to Him. Is that what the person calling himself Pope Francis was trying to say though?

That chap is correct in his assertion that Bergolio is a public heritic. So is that priest. The ‘effete’ Novus Ordo priests have no proper formation in the Catholic faith, so they have no solid foundation to set their beliefs on.

The priest ties himself up in knots of stupidity trying to defend Bergolio.

I imagine he’s wrong on many things, however in his instance, his observations are correct.

That’s just the reality of the situation. If words have meaning then Bergolio is a public heritic.

There is a real tension in what is left of Anglicanism in England in that a majority of the people in the pews would have a "The Daily Mail" outlook on things while as probably a majority of the clergy would rather take inspiration from "The Guardian".

Priest caught sexually assaulting sleeping man on train jailed​


A priest who was caught sexually assaulting a sleeping man on a train has been jailed.

Father Daniel Doherty was spotted abusing the victim by fellow passengers travelling on the service to Edinburgh Waverley station.

After growing concerned, the witnesses contacted police and rail staff to report what they had seen before moving to a different carriage.

Train managers attended and questioned Doherty, who stated “we are just friends” and claimed that he had been “affirming” the victim.

During the conversation, the witnesses noticed that the 61-year-old's trouser button was undone, his belt was secured, and his trouser zip was halfway undone.
