Well no. I expect her to do as she is told, and that is nothing.

Hence the word “if”

The Irish beef farming sector set to be decimated. Arse-ula von der Leyen is in South America to sign off on the Mercosur deal..Why was this not made an election issue?

The further balkanisation of Europe that has started with England & Nigel Farage will lead to greater economic instability. Unfortunately I don't think this can be solved. Donald Trump is incredibly popular & I think the American way of doing things is going to become popular in Ireland.

The French aren't happy, could well be another nail in the EUs coffin.

40% did not vote, The remainder all voted soft left. Your prognosis is baseless IMO. In the year 2100 Irish election results will be the same.

Car manufacturing seems to be leading the way in the collapse. Nissan, Vauxhall, VW
all gone down.

Yeah but, Nissan & VW are a bit pricey (X2) (includes maintenance & spares) in comparison to basic entry level cars which perform and look very well within the limitations of the road network.

I think that the euro now will be the first of the big four currencies to collapse. The sell off in bonds continues today and as the interest rate rises, it will strengthen the dollar here in the short term.

This is priceless.
Big investment firms us these things to make trades and inform decisions.

I was reading an article earlier this week in which it was suggested that AI is going to be too expensive to introduce for many jobs simply because of the training of the systems involved, and, paradoxically, it was the lower paid jobs such as truck driving which were going to cost the most. A lot of white collar work is likely to succumb before the trucker gets the heave ho. That might cool the jets a little amongst management circles.

More comments on the retarded decision makers of Europe.

Loved that article, sums it up beautifully but on this note -

debt-ridden, open-air museum for American and Chinese tourists

I'd suggest that it is only a fraction of those countries populations which will be able to afford it, the same sort of % of Germans that will be able to buy a ticket to America, or China.

It is putting pressure on stocks so it is surprising they are holding up. But it could break at any moment needless to say

Removing Islam from your country will decrease the quality of the economy because when you get rid of the Muslims you let in the Jews.

Now it is not only Jews who are affecting the economy & bringing it toward Socialism but if you remove Islam from a country the Jews will find it easier to do so, as well as others who are in favour of Socialism.

Some serious losses and a fraction of what the losses would be if they have to sell these bonds before maturity. If the interest rates continue up, it is doom

This could be a big hit for the already fecked German economy. And with all those people illegally walking through Germany from who knows where.....
AFAIK foot and mouth is treated by vaccination on the continent, the UK refused to do so saying it was ineffective (can't remember the exact excuse now), but come covid........

What do you’s understand by dynamic pricing ? And can we expect to have this in our supermarkets in the coming future for foodstuffs? Oasis concert tickets were subject to dynamic pricing which is as l understand is fluctuating pricing according to supply, demand .

Expect a big jump in the price of juice one of these days as the oul price has increased about $10 from the low, if not more.

The cold snap over here and the realisation that Trump might not resolve Ukraine overnight after all, has been blamed for the jump. Yet other parts of Europe have had a mild winter to date so quite how genuine that first excuse is might be open to question.

I think a lot of world leaders were hoping more useless eaters would be dead by now.

There is a good deal of of truth in this but we need to remember that the covid event was convenient for a whole lot of people and we should be wary of pinning it on to just the one cause. As mentioned before, it was like throwing a grenade into a fish pond and using whatever floated to the surface rather than a clinical attempt to create specific solutions, fate will always screw up such plans.

I'd also question the closing down of the economy, it was by no means total, it certainly slowed but we still ate and factories still turned out goods etc.

It does remain though, one of the the most significant crimes against humanity yet recorded and people should be swinging for it.
