What it is exactly I cannot say. Where does it go? Does it manifest into another life? Etc etc. Man does not know the answer to these things although there are some "enlightened" people who surely get a glimpse of it.

god is everywhere and within you and everyone has the same amount rich or poor blind or deaf .
god is everywhere in the universe .
all of those who have conversed with god from Indian gurus to catholic saints all agree they have no more of god than you --nor less .
people who can connect with god/consciousness/their self --,
all agree the highest wish the greatest vision of heaven/nirvana ,
is the increased knowledge of god and therefore the growing closeness and merging with god --there is no other game in town this is as good as it gets anywhere in the universe .
its not THEIRS its your god -you already have him within -you just have not met him yet --I met him/myself once very briefly and it has shaped my life greatly -I spent years studying and I even went to India --.
Irish friends of mine -retired nurses and others now spend at least 2 months of the year in India as they find it life giving to be with hundreds of others who spend time with god .
they have a realisation when they meet you or anyone else their god antenna is the first order of business and they can detect those who have travelled the road within as their love of mankind cannot be hidden nor can the English used by them be hidden either .
you might wonder why do I say these things -- I don't unless I come across a sincere person who suspects the truth .
our god - your god -my god does not ask for money -will never ask for money -will not have anything to do with a cult or religion.
you come to the realisation that you are free god -----is free there is no charge -you do not have to build a cathedral or hut --he travels with you YOU ARE THE CATHEDRAL .
