A Possible Energy Shutdown?

Hard to image ne many hanging on past 3 days. How many have gone home already?????
I read that up to 18 ships have passed through the straits of Hormuz in the last day or so at a reported cost of $2m apiece, paid in yuan or crypto currency to Tehran. Don't know whether they are all oil tankers but it's difficult to claim that the straits are still blocked.

marinetraffic.com would suggest otherwise.

A few bulk carriers but no oil tankers, afaics.

Dunno. I'm just repeating MSM reports. There are supposedly 60 or 70 large tractors, buses etc blocking O'Connell St and planning to stay the night. New arrivals expected tomorrow. Garda Sicini could just bust them in the middle of the night.

The only thing that protects politicians is cops. If the politicians tell the cops to arrest someone and the cops don't do it, that must make the politicos feel very uncomfortable, afraid and even threatened.... :)

Came up behind a roadblock on the way home, was on the bike so managed to filter through it and get away, there was one coming in the other way as well and not one cop car to be seen on either side of the M'way.

General BAC area? Great to hear the federales are not harassing the peasants. Is anybody carrying pitchforks ?

The guys are saying that at current prices they are losing money doing business. So they might as well lose money protesting. Makes sense.

School buses have to sign a five year contract and they cannot ask for more money, even if the price of fuel doubles. They won't be running next week - the contractors can't afford to run them.

The cops allowed the farmers occupy Bord Bia for six weeks. Wouldn't it be nice if they allowed the farmers and truckers block the Luas for six weeks???

But the problem with the pigs is that they are nice and polite one minute but they can turn on a sixpence. Suddenly, they're jabbing grannies with Tasers and committing homosexual attacks on heterosexual men. Very untrustworthy.

I heard where two towing companies refused to assist gardai. But it a lad from s having his tractor towed and impounded, he surely will crack and drive away.

As usual, there is no brains behind this. No clear purpose. They needed to convoy llcally to the house of their local TD and imform him of their displeased

MI5 Martin is calling it "national sabotage". Slimy Simon says it is "sinister and despicable". Big Jim is pushing the cops to crack down.

So far, the cops have just smirked and continued facilitating the protest. Good cops.

The Journal is allowing savage comments: block every road in the country, close down the airport, etc. Repeated references to mass immigration as sinister and despicable national sabotage. We are the normies now....

Sounds like the farmers will get savagely attacked early in the morning and their machinery impounded. Let us pray for their safety.

Local is best, of course. Looks like there are lots of local protests planned tomorrow, dunno if they are going to the houses of local politicos. It would be a good idea :)

The cities are easy to seize up but out in the sticks people are just finding a way round the jams, the two I came across today were only a couple of hundred metres long and folk were sneaking past on the hard shoulder. Mind you, we were sent home early to give people time to get home which means man hours lost, so it is having an effect other than just holding the traffic up.

Has there been a big turnout of farmers from east Galway?
