The Championship

The microwaved, rushed format and the endless money grubbing by the Grab All Association - depriving fans of free to air access to games - has resulted in a damp squib of a championship that passes by so quickly that there's no time to enjoy it. Provincial finals in early May? Ffs.

You'll see evidence of the lack of interest once the games come to Croke Park in the latter stages. I mentioned this previously, but when I attended Dublin matches around 2008/09/10, when pillar Caffrey was the manager, first round Leinster championship matches used to sell out. It was mad. I remember going to Dublin v Offaly in the football and it being packed to the brim. Now they'd struggle to fill Croker for a semi final.

The Grab All Association have fked up big time.

The GAA is gone Corporate ( Money Hungry Corporate )

Imagine the GAA going Globalist Corporate = = That would be the equivalent of the GAA of, 120 years ago / 100 years ago going = = Full British Empire Gimps ! ! !

Yeah the round robin format sucks. Very unfair on the Munster counties too because they are so competitive. The home & away non-knockout format also makes the games less special. I haven't been to a Munster hurling game since pre-Covid. I used to love going up to Thurles for the games, with up to 50,000 people in the stadium. Waterford have their home games in a 12k capacity stadium so it's harder to get tickets, and the atmosphere in the stadium and the whole day trip experience is nothing compared to travelling up to Thurles. Waterford's summer will be over by middle of May for the fifth or sixth year running unless they can beat Limerick away. Last year's All-Ireland champions Tipperary could be knocked early out too.

Thirty something in attendance. Absolutely pathetic. I bought a ticket for my father and had to go through the following steps on the GAA website:
  1. Find the section to purchase tickets
  2. Choose OAP
  3. Navigate the map on the website to choose his seat.
  4. Sign in to his GAA account.
  5. Sign in to Ticketmaster to finalise the purchase
Do the Grab All Association expect a 74 year old to be able to navigate this on their own? The utter pricks.

Irish soccer fans have new decorations at Dalymount Park. Football fans are thick as fuck

The GAA dont care about fans. They are helping the Digital ID system by implementing the soft creep by making life impossible without going along with their digitalization. They know to do it with football fans as those soft headed pricks will do whatever so they can continue to participate in the Cult of SportsBall

Those dopey bastards would take the hanta virus jab to get an all ireland seat

Westmeath defeat Dublin to win the Leinster championship. A deserved win. Dublin a shadow of their former selves
Great to see ~ ~ Genuine GAA Decent GAA People need days like this.

The 36,000 says so much ~ ~ Not far to travel for either set of fans ( obviously ) and only 36,000 at a Leinster Final !

That time Tyrone beat Mayo, I am pretty sure that the Tyrone Players did Not take the Covid Vaccine ~ ~ And a pretty average Tyrone team well-beat, an admittedly pretty average Mayo team.

Of course it was all pretty much covered up by the Irish Main Stream Media ! ! !

Would have thought Westmeath would have brought more fans, being the novelty of the occasion, but congrats to them for being Leinster champions. That with the Rossies having a great season, football is in a decent place for once.

Sorry to see Monaghan lose the Ulster Final. Hoping they put Mayo to the sword.

A glorious summer's day, with the championship in full flow - and guess what? The Grab All Association have decided to stick EVERY match today behind their paywall, including Kerry v Donegal.
I have previously said that Jarlath Burns and the GAA are gone Maximum Corporate ! ! !

They even come out with Corporate Speak ~ ~ It really is disappointing when you consider what the GAA meant to so many People at Club level and even County level ! !

I don't know what to make of Billy Maguire president of the Irish Republican Brotherhood, but he often went on about how in 2008 the gaa changed from a voluntary organisation to a corporation. They then took the harp off the All Ireland medals and replaced it with what he called the "three serpent logo".
Right enough, if you study the gaa logo, one can see the three serpents.🐍🐍🐍

Just had some memories of this, Great Sports Commentator.

He really was great at adding excitement to matches with his commentary.

And maybe just maybe the matches were more exciting for People back in those days.

Kilkenny knocked out of the Leinster and All Ireland hurling championships with Offaly making the qualifiers instead.

Must be a long time since that happened to the Cats.

Commiserations to Aul Lad
