The date stamp does not normally appear on the image so it has been added on after the shot, or deliberately included when the shot was taken. But to do so requires a conscious effort to change the camera settings, why would this be done? We need to look at the whole file to see what it says in the EXIF data, which will probably include a time zone and maybe even a location if the camera was a pro model. If it was taken on a mobile then we can be certain of the time and date.

Most cameras will bother the feck out of you to set the time and and date when new, or it has been put back to default settings for some reason, a not uncommon occurrance. Was it set up correctly? This would be the usual thing to do, but if we are going to drill down into whether the camera was set correctly or not then we need a lot more detail, starting with the camera type and model, and who took the photo.

Has the lady made any attempt to deny or explain away the image?

Yes, it is possible for date stamps on photos to be incorrect or to be added afterwards. If you want to claim the date of Ogbu's photo is incorrect, then the burden is on you to provide proof.
