Wrong. The EU promised in the Charter of Fundamental human rights that we would have certain rights. It reneged on them, in effect
it lied to voters and when voters said no the the Lisbon treaty, we were told to keep voting over and over until we go ot right as the EU wanted.

A lot of them now have been wiped out fighting as essentially NATO proxies in Syria. The Orange men and the worst of "Wee Free" types looked seriously freaked out marching alongside them and the Peter Thatchell/Ann Marie Waters types. Objectively looking at it was very amusing but at the time my blood just boiled and I was in the Church of England at the time and a few years off converting to Catholicism but I loved Pope Benedict.
