In Gemma's latest video there's an English Climate dweeb being interrogated by an angry Dub with a, shall we say, strong accent.

Gemma's holding her head in her hands saying "How could anyone end up talking like that. Me and him are from the same town for God's sake" :D

I cannot say much about the family as I know all generations of them. I barely knew the lad who died RIP.

The mother ran 2 pubs in her day. I had a few pints in one on Paddy's day. All of them were nice to me so
I had no issue. The punch up was not in her pub, that was in another pub. I had to be held back.

Ok, there is something I actually kinda agree with Gemma on, voting in the referendums next Friday is completely and totally pointless, it's not that I think results are rigged but the constitution was as useful as used soggy toilet paper clogged in the local public toilets during 2020-2022, so what's the point?

Folks were basic Country folk and reared us well. I have me own gaff and a 10 year auld Corolla and enough in me pocket for a few pints.

I don't visit gay bars or engage in promiscuous activity (except for Porn Hub) and work a 40 hour week.

I reckon Gemma would approve.

I don't think she is a plant but she is not leadership material because she is crap it seems at getting on with people- the trouble is that she sees herself almost as Divinely appointed leadership material and so to go against her is to go against Ireland as such.

The Novara crowd and a lot of the "Optics Left" really dislike Galloway also.

He seems to be a person who invokes strong reactions either for or against. "theloner" on P.ie really liked him.

Also Jones did not say he liked Galloway as such- just that it was good that he won this election.

There is this book written by a Greek woman who converted to Hinduism called the "The Lightning and the Sun" which makes out that Hitler was basically an avatar of the creature that the Hindus worship called Vishnu. It is really gushing and blubbering fan writing and popular in larger sections than you would think of the actual Far Right. She comes out right in it and says that animals have probably have more right to live than most humans alive today so it would annoy Myles and it is rather anti-Christian as you would expect from someone who embraced Hinduism. I wonder if Gemma does actually fall out with Waters and Jones whether she would go several steps further and embrace that book?

I won't use the word 'narcissist' but the lady is completely wrapped up in herself for sure. It's me me me all the time. Hard to listen to and I wonder how many people involved with her paper, her lawyers etc wish she'd wind her neck in a bit. I imagine she is torture to work with. The lady has no concept of humility. She worked for an anti-Irish West Brit rag for decades but now behaves like a pope for trad cats, constantly patronising novus ordu and calling women who have babies out of wedlock 'sluts and whores.'

I see from Wikipedia she married relatively late in life. Was she a virgin on her wedding day? I also see she has no kids. Did she ever use birth control? None of my business but if a person consistently berates people for their 'lack of morals' then they better be up for some hard questions.

I think it's brilliant what she's doing exposing Guerin and the judges and barristers but it's her own fault only a few people show up in court to support her. Her own holier than thou judgemental and sneering behaviour, not to mention her open snobbery towards people she considers of a lower social class than herself is why she will end up an echo chamber for snooty Catholics. But this is Ireland and we will never have any decent leaders. I wish her luck but amn't arsed about her anymore either. Her recent comment that protestants in her beloved 26 county state should be moved 'to the north or england' speaks volumes. She's still whinging about getting her arm twisted by a Garda when she was arrested a few years ago. I wonder what she'd be like if she had to put up with what Catholics in the six counties had to put up with for generations. Methinks she would have joined the INLA, split from them and started her own army and stiffed McGlinchey in the process.

Afaik she’s not a traddy. She certainly doesn’t go to any TLM’s around Dublin. She’s either a ‘stay at homer’ or has found a ‘conservative’ Novus Ordo to go to.

People need to let go of the idea of waiting for a white knighted leader to come rescue them. A popular/populist revolt is all that is required. Become ungovernable. Shun politics and the mass media. Meet in large, intergenerational groups at church or the pub, or picnics. Take back and initiate a cultural and spiritual revolution in the home. Reject modernity in all its forms. Ditch mass entertainment. Read old books. Make things. Learn a musical instrument. Avoid Big Pharma. Take no more notice of the nonsense in everyday life. Break unjust rules and laws. Start private Hedge Schools, and teach everything to the childers that the system despises.
 
This is where my interest is focused in regard to Gemma, Christians & Abrahamic's in General.
How and Where are we witness to Gods power & influence through them, by them to the world & to each other.

We hear and see from the Righteous Religious but what does it mean when there is such obvious stark division.

Even between Catholic devotions to their Church in Rome or Not as the case certainly appears to be?

A confusing complexity to the good pagan agnostics of this world, no doubt and sure confusing for the Christians themselves too??

A couple of things. Firstly Gemma does not represent the Catholic Church. Her personality is more symptomatic of our modern age were men are emasculated and women are aggressive and have tongues like vipers. Her behaviour is certainly not conducive with being a traditionalist and she is point in fact, not one.
The traditional Catholic families that I know in Ireland are salt of the earth people. Some of the kindest and most selfless people you could ever meet.

Secondly your comments are a reminder of the rhetoric we grew up with under the useless boomer generation. A generation whose offspring have brought the world to the point it’s at now. Kidults addicted to porn and soma.

I remember a pal of mine visiting from New Zealand who was listening to some boomer relatives of mine going on about Christian brother schools and Magdalen laundries (all of whom had perfectly happy childhoods and childhoods that kids these days could only dream of) and he pointed out that his Dad had the exact same stories about school and how unmarried mothers were treated, except that he went to a secular school in a secular town in NZ which had no connection to the Catholic Church. As he pointed out, it wasn’t an Irish or Catholic problem, it was the way the entire world was. Do you think people were having the craic in the atheist Soviet Union Utopia?

As for the curtain twitchers. That’s very much a rural habit in Ireland that still exists. I have family in Mayo, and I can tell that that tradition is alive and well in the villages of Mayo. The Godless villages of Mayo.

In modern, Godless Ireland, tens of thousands of women go to government sanctioned buildings to murder their own children every year. Guilt free. What a lovely country we are. I’d like to go back to the so called ‘dark days’ when that was illegal and not socially acceptable.

Whoever says 'Lord I am not worthy to receive you' before receiving the Eucharistic and means it with all their heart - surely this is pleasing to God. All the debate about different masses is first world problems to a backwoodsman like me.
