I'm presuming that it was simply because someone at RFK Jr's level having these kinds of conversations backs up the OP's contention and has nothing to do with Alex Jones's view on these matters.

I'm just adding to the absurdity of ET life and showing that even NASA people are making such ridiculous claims. I mean it's one thing to claim in aliens, but it's another level of absurdity for someone to claim they are not from earth. Obviously I don't believe in aliens from space, because space is fake. UFOs are a slightly different matter, in that there are unidentified things in the sky. Those are not aliens though, that's the hoax/psyop the militaries providing that rubbish lo-res footage of blips on a screen want us to believe. I think an alien contact hoax is possible, although I don't think they are ready yet to pull it off. The real psyop is making people simply believe that aliens from outer space are at least possible, when they are actually impossible.
